Not long after that they voiced how it would be awsome to have a Public Voice Server for the Silk Road community.

We all desided that thought should be a reality.
On May 7th 2007 we launched a 100 slot Ventrilo server open to the public of SRO.

Now I know that 100 slots is far from enough to house the people of Silk Road but we desided to start off small and see how much traffic we run with just the 100 slot server.
Once we fill up the 100 slots we will be more then happy to go up to 500 if they will be used.

Anyone can get your IP in this forum by using an image in the sig then look in their logs.

LOL! You know that pics in the sig have to be linked from some webspace? And that avatars are usually stored on the forum's webspace? A normal user can see nobody's IP here.

But Mods + Admins should have a nice "IP"-Button next to the Edit-Button on every post which tells them the IP from which the post was made. Otherwise just look in the forum's logs.

Yeah, thats what I meant. Getting a free webhost that gives you access to traffic stats and stuff it easy these days.

And what does it matter to mention normal users? Normal users don't know utilize IP address for hacking anyway. lol
