The bot problem wouldn't be as bad as it's now if Joymax took action when they started appearing. Security should be much better. For that and anything related to it, I think Joymax is a bad company for not solving the problem and not listening when people ask them to do something about it.
When I look at the game itself, with its features and updates, I think they did a nice job which they can be proud of.
I just wish they'd solve the problems the game also has, aswell as its good things.
Agreed. This game does have a lot to offer, and I think it's designed quite well with the graphics and game play, etc. As far as the bot problem goes, player bots MAY be a bit harder for the GMs to find, a little.
However, with the gold bots, each and every one that comes out a given gate will stop at a specific point for a few seconds before following its predetermined path. They could simply put a "hot spot" in their database where if a character lands on that precise spot, for a specified time (and perhaps moving to the next "hot spot" shortly after, instantly ban them. It doesn't have to be a permanent ban, but maybe a 3-5 day ban for "suspicious behavior".
Get banned too many times for "suspicious behavior"? Perma-ban.
That should lighten the gold bot traffic a bit. Those characters are never even grinded by real people, so no harm banning them really.
Conspiracy theorists may say "oh Joymax won't ban them because they hire gold companies and share profits!!!". Well, Joymax could make better profit by selling gold in their item mall, and have happier customers. (even then, I still wouldn't buy gold.)

They did try to fix them, maybe they just simply can't...
They can at least "fix" the goldbots then... but theres a loss of $$ in that too... less traffic -> less premiums bought. I think JM sold out completely. :/
What does a premium cost? $20? So fix the gold bot problem, give Premium Access to anyone that buys $20+ worth of stuff from the Item Mall in a given month (alchemy anyone?), and profits shouldn't be that affected. I think if traffic problems were better, more people would be more willing to spend more money on the Item Mall to support Joymax.
