I just noticed that you can now choose exactly what you want to win at the magic pop stands. Its not like before where joymax would only release certain amount of items to win every 2 weeks.
You get to choose what weapon/gear/accessories (for all classes and degrees). I can see that when this game reaches it's final cap there will be lots of caped players frequenting the pop stands trying to get a full SOSun set including weapons. Das crazy.
Has anyone on your server tried the un-thinkable? Trying to get every piece of item SOSun for their char? I'm sure that would cost someone a ton of money. The chances of winning are so low and trying and get a full set SOSun would be insane.

Ya its hard..Just tossed 40 silk on it..didn't get the 10D bow I wanted but I got a SOSun 26+2 earring. I guess that makes up for the loss somewhat. I heard some chick named Amelie (or something like that) who used to be a member here is totally POPed from head to toe. She must be rich or heavily addicted.

I say that is alot of money, and I also say anyone who spends that much on Silkroad in one year is a complete loser.

Then yes, the guy must either be rich or heavily addicted. I rather spend $500 on clothes/foods/stuff that are real and I'd say that is much more worth it than spending only $200, but for virtual goods...lol

My farm char has full sun set 2nd degree I can poon any lvl 10-28 char on the server! And, I have like...3 skills!! Degree 1-3 can be won in 1-3 tries. Most of the pieces I got on the first try. lol I know its stoopid, but after blowing a rediculous amount trying for a 10d sun, it felt kind of nice actually winning for once. Anyone that goes full 10d pop, even if it is possible within the span of a cap, is a tard.

i spent 50 silk in my entire game life of 2 years, and i totally regretted it
it is around SGD$10. So you can can calculate how much that is in your currency
i could have used that 10 bucks for:
a good meal at subway a good meal at aston's a awesome necklace/choker treat the girl i like to a small tibit or smth (or bubble tea, she loves the bubbletea near her sch)
i mean. cmon. dont waste ur money like that...

I didn't understand what "hols" meant. Sorry that I'm not a retard. =/ If I understood that then the sentence would've been much clearer to me. I have never heard anyone use "hols". I do know that money doesn't fall from a sky. I'm not a moron, but you're acting like $10 is godly and can buy you a new house. As for me not knowing anything about my money? Lol? I don't go around throwing money at people's faces. I buy what I find to be entertainment to myself. You can say that spending $10 at a movie is a waste since it is released a few months later for nearly the same price on DVD. Yeah sure it can be considered a waste, but I prefer going to the theater with a few friends enjoying my time. During my free time I like to buy a game that comes out and hey look in a few days Heavy Rain is coming out. That's $70 I'm shelling out for entertainment. If I'm buying it then it's worth my money. Typically it is and not a disappointment. In Silkroad's Pop it's a disappointment so it's not even worth bothering same goes for the lotto. Same thing really. Back to silkroad and buying $10 worth of silk. Am I buying $10 a month? No. Am I buying $10 every other month? No. I bought, in total of 2 characters, $100 worth of silk and that's over a couple year period on and off time. Is it a big deal? Not at all, because I enjoyed playing Silkroad. Once I got bored I stopped buying and that was it. Well I shouldn't say am I buying since I stopped playing Silkroad. Why still on a forum? Not much to do plus it's funny to see pointless arguments like this. heroo wrote: Toshiharu wrote: $10 is about an hour at minimum wage. Geez, i completly agree with M3K0S here. People here are either spoiled kids (i dont see why your parents would buy silk for you if your 17 >.>). And saying 200 dollars is 'nothing' ? geez- how much do you people make a month? If you make anywhere under 3000-3500 dollars a month, you should seriously reconcider what you want to spent your money on.
200 in a month for once might not seem to much perhaps, but in the end, over a whole year- you work nearly a month per year just for silkroad, thats not healthy xD

$200 per month is not the issue. But trying to get your char fully POPed at cap level can push your silk history into the thousands ($1000.00). None of my business what anyone do with their money. Its their choice to even light it on fire but it's interesting to see how far some people will go.
I just happen to realize that when this game reaches it's final cap there will be people willing to shell out the big bucks and roll the dice with POPing just to be covered in SOSun in an effort to be the best on their server. I'm not sure that it's worth it. Not from POP anways. But that's just my opinion.
