Is it only me, or is the Silkroad-R, Revolution, just a joke. I mean, comon, all they have done is made it 30% easier to level, couple of boring quests, kill 5 of those, pick 3 of those etc, etc.
Changed and added some skills, made Chin only able to choose two masteries.

Might be cool. With wemade merging or whatever that thing was I can see that this server is the server that they'll take care of. Afterall the changes they did weren't just done in an afternoon.

FOr your information, there are private servers, with the exact same stuff as this new server but with better rates.

WHAT I CANT UNDERSTAND IS WHY DO JOYMAX DECREASE LVL XP REQUIREMENT WITH 30% BUT KEEP RATED 1X Why do they believe we started playing private servers LoL!

You do realize that they didn't just change the rates, right? They actually made it to be linear with the quests. Which is actually surprising. Level 14 and on tiger quests? Man I was at level 10 and done with everything before. That takes time to make perfect. What private servers just do elimate everything and make the grind isntant. Bad? No. However that is surprising that they've done it after all these years. I cannot comment on higher levels, but I would imagine it's perfect til 70.

They also had to change the quests to go to the camps. That isn't a 5minute job either. The rest like the coins drops only, reward, making camp, new npcs etc etc a 5minute job. Not literally, but an easy job.

"wemade" is a korean company. I'm not saying "we made".

And in the end private servers turn to shit, because there is no structure. Running on an old client is bad with all the leaks, bugs, etc etc it has. Not like Silkroad had any bugs that anyone could care about, but whatever. Security leaks on the other hand is the main problem. Top it off you have horrible GMs that end up giving items to their friends or selling sox which is just silly.

Now go back to your elitist group and stay on a server with 100 people. I'll play this with a few thousand. Sure botting will start sooner or later, but for now I'm content with it.

Well, I suppose most people will agree with me if I say that I would ALWAYS prefer staying on an official server. So if they can manage the server, I'll stay.

And yes, WeMade, the ones who basically bought Joymax.

It's what sro should have been like a long time ago, I don't know how it's going to go either. It's still not easy to level up and that will definitely deter a lot of players after this initial newness wears off, I really wonder if this version will stay bot free because I can't imagine that all of these players will stick with hand-grinding. Personally I'm already bored with it and don't have a ton of time to waste playing.

Flavor will wear off before 70 on most people. Those that care will be the ones botting 24/7.

My point being, CAP is 120, Right? I dont care if you level quickly at tigers or not. The game has a cap of 120 levels, and if, as I atleast hope, it will be free of bots, the rate has to increase significantly, this was supposed to be a Revolution, all I see is a poor excuse to make even more money on a game that has potential, but lack of intelligence.

P.S Silkroad = Silk Road = The endless Road where you buy SIlk. It is all about the SilkRoad and it always has been!

Don't like it why bother with these forums? Why bother even trying this client when you already said pservers are better? I just don't understand.

P.P.S. I've bought less than $100 on my euro and I was one of the best in Troy. I bought premium+ once during 90cap. No sun. I wasn't rich enough. 100cap I had around 10b, but I didn't even care about playing.

Dont really feel like wasting time on you ,so here is my last attempt to point out what i think.
It wasn't supposed to be an argument,but since I seem to have come across a besserwisser, the argument becomes rather non existent. Instead I meant to point out the problems, with this update. Pointing out in this "pure grinder"- forum, that when they(Joymax),declares that they will create this "Revolution". Sounds cool, I have played the official one, played some pservers, but as some have already stated above, I agree on the part, that official is better in the way of the management, and they way the servers are run etc. Playing a game is about enjoying it, and having a social experience with other players and also in a game environment where leveling actually is POSSIBLE by hand.

Then I log on and start playing, made a Bicheon/Force tank, and I started killing my first Mangyang. Then i get ASTONISHED, the xp rate is the SAME. How is Joymax able to maintain a "clean" server when it will take years to play it. All other servers are dead, why play a game where botters strive and might even be encouraged. I surely wont. So in my mind this update is a failure, won't take long until the server will be full like all the other ones and filled with you know what...

If you like the way the server is atm, then good for you! Have fun on this server!

If they actually manage to keep this server bot-free, I think that the game could be quite fun and enjoyable even at the lower levels. There will be many casual players, and a constant influx of new people, which would hopefully keep the community alive. IMO that’s the most important thing in any MMO game.

I don't remember when silkroad felt EVEN this good. I did amazing pt at bandits with some random people and got 14-18lvl like in 30mins And loving stuff that make your gameplay easier (free pots, sox weapon etc.)

Biggest problem so far. No way to get speed scrolls :/ They are basically forcing you to go bard (sub) if you don't plan on partying much.

I can tell you how R is without playing it.

Some of the same old shit, with a few minimal changes, shoved out with WeMade saying "WE FIXED THE GAME FOR YOU, ENJOY" Only way to fix the game, would be to go back to a 60-80 cap, and actually have end game content. It is still unrealistic for many (most) people to even bother trying to cap in the game.

Seems to be more fun as a low level than it was before.

When did they implement holding down CTRL for an equipment comparison?

Was looking forward too this, but it hasn't turned out to be what I thought it would be. Game isn't great, and it's a bit of a let down to be honest.

I agree, I was expecting a btter result after all that campaign that joymax made.
And I don't like playing eu chars, I am a fan of glaiver. That just two masteries thing ... I hate it! So i am not going to play SRO-R anymore. Quit.
