I heard some people saying "Running SRO under linux"
Will that solve my problem?
If yes, tell me how to do it please.

My problem is that when i push the start button it says:
You client is damaged or corrupt, thus cannot connect to game.
Please reinstall the client.

His downloaded client might be damaged aswell.
My advice would be download a new client from a good site like filefront.

All you do is redownload the Game. And if anyone has ***s or multiclient, that could cause damage as well Im pretty sure.

Just re-download the client from silkroadonline.net and re-install if it still doesnt work we can look further into it

as stated redownload from different sites, like filefront, fileplanet, anywhere if u get same message, try another

SRO Does Not Support Linux and i doubt it will in the future
Best chance is to redownload it

BUT, there's a program called WhineHQ and it converts Windows platformed games to Linux/Mac/... So throughthat you can play sro. It's close to the quality of SRO on a Windows based computer. If the redownloading/reinstalling thing doesn't work, try that one I'd say. But I'd go for a dualboot instead of overwriting windows with the linux OS.
