Okay, I will humor this with a response...., maybe others are wondering the same thing but don't want to be the noob that asks.

To start you need 500k gold. That's it. You go talk to any of the guild NPCs in the towns (Leebak in Jangan is one) and select the option to form a guild. He'll ask you if you have 500k. Then you have to input an original name (one that hasn't been used yet) and viola!!! You will be the first member of your new guild.

So now you know why there are about a thousand guilds running around...it's easy to start one....much harder to keep it going and level it up!

lol im just messin wit him and besides we're rl family so i can poke him if i want, and besides he could have just asked me the question in the first place.
