I've been reading around and I've seen discussions about 0/9 gaps or 6 gaps or whatever... And I've noticed a lot of people don't like anything between 0 and 9. Is this because you're not focused on one thing in particular, or is it because you're getting less experience for your time or whatever?

Like, would going from 40-50 using a 6-7 gap take longer to accumulate SP and EXP than farming it all first with a 9 gap and then going 0 gap? Or is it just a mentality thing?

Oh, and as a side question... can you raise weapon levels? Like upgrade a 16 spear to 18 or whatever?

its not a mentality thing. its about doing the process of farming as efficient as it can be.

for example, for someone that makes a new character is probably better to farm all the SP at once. but for someone else that is short of lets say 6-7k sp then farming with 5-6gap while levling up is a solution that works, it takes longer but those people only need a few sp.

you can "upgrade" a weapon by doing alchemy on it and using weapon elixirs, basically by adding pluses. 16+1=17 16+2=18 etc etc.

but if you farm at 16 get a good bow. its the only way to farm good sp and fast.

So right now I'm at 16 with an 8 gap, and I don't really want to spend all that time getting the SOS bow and then shooting bandits for a month straight... should I just go 0 gap until 40 or so, or could I train a bit with a 6 gap?

1. you dont spend a month shooting bandits, its only around 8
2. you will get stuck around late twenties or early 3x if you dont have a gap, happened to me twice, but you can still try

you wont be able to go 0 gap to 40. you wont have the necessary SP to lvl up your mastery trees or get any skills, if you dont farm atleast once until 40. and when i say farm, im talking about farming atleast 15-20k.

i think this is the best way:gap 9 until lvl 16 after that when you lvl up,then you gap down,so lvl 17 gap 8 lvl 18 gap 7,lvl 19 gap 6,then you decide how to go on im thinking to do a gap 5 untill lvl 24 and then farm on Devil horse, and ill have money for a good sos bow (im lvl 18 and have 700k,so you do the math)
