Hey all, I'm kinda new here and I dont know if the subject was posted, but anyway I need help.

I played on GF 6600 ultra GT and one day it has burned, now I gotta play on integrated graphic card, and when I launch SRO there's a black square on mouse cursor :x I've tried to reinstall game, system nothing helps...any ideas? :?:
btw I can't post any ss 'cause there's no cursor on them.

Man, I've heard that the GF 6 series had overheating problems, but how could you fry one completely just by running SRO? And one from the GT series, at that? :?: :?: :?:
Anyway, IGPs often have problems running games (I couldn't even start SRO on mine), and the black cursor problem is one of them. I suppose you could try to update your IGP's drivers, but I doubt that would work. Just buy a GF 7 or 8 - those don't have the overheating problems :P

sounds like an artifact.... try running ati tool to search for artifacts or any other problems let it run for about a good 30-60mins.

http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/
