Hey everyone, I plan to change my job to Hunter here soon, right now I'm currently a Merchant. I don't care about my Merchant EXP or anything like that at all, or the 7 day penalty either. What I do care about is my job Alias, I don't want to lose it. When I leave the merchant guild do I keep my currently set Alias for the 7 days while I'm waiting to transfer, or will I lose it? I want to switch to a Hunter, but don't want to lose my Alias. Has anyone else switched and got to keep the same Alias, or someone at least explain to me how switching works? If I don't lose my Alias thats awesome, but if I do, in the 7 days I'm waiting to change, whats keeping someone else from stealing my claimed Alias?

I have switched before. When you join the new guild (I went thief -> Merchant) you pick a new alias. Im not sure whether or not you can pick the same one, or whether anyone else can take your old alias for your old job.

I would really like to know from someone who has successfully kept their Alias between jobs. Has anyone switched and successfully been able to use the same Alias before?

aww.. even if no one else takes it? It will just always say its used? your positive? damn.... can anyone confirm this? because I DO NOT want to leave the merchant guild until I know for sure.

All I am asking is for ONE person to tell me if they have successfully changed jobs, waited the 7 days, and was able to use the EXACT same alias for their new job.

Can ANYONE answer this? Please.
