wiz, warrior subclass?

am a pure int wiz, if i was to get warrior subclass to wear the heavy armour, would i still be able to cast my wizard skills?

Why are you a pure str wizard? they are an Int build. Being a str wizard will hinder your damage when using wizard skills. If you are not too high a lvl, I would re-roll and be int wizard with warrior sub to wear heavy armor, or rogue for light armor for more survivability.
