Ability pet? 'Attack pet'? An ability pet is good for all classes, it just picks up the money=>Faster grinding. An 'attack pet' speaks for itself; it attacks the mobs(dont know it can attack other players aswell..) =>Mobs are dead quicker->Faster Grinding. I dont really know why you shouldnt buy one

Grabber -> yes Fighter -> yes
A grabber is nice for stuff because you will keep range (excluding giants) and a fighter is nice for when you 1hit like 90% of the time..the other 10% your pet can finish it.

ok, thanks. I meant attack pet. and can a pet be used to lure partymobs, so it becomes easier to kill partymobs as a wizard?

If you can 'multitask'. By that I mean attacking mobs and at the same time selecting another mob and clicking the attack button for your pet etc...Its possible

Yeah, it looks like a claw. Select a mob, rightclick the icon and it will attack.

Yup when you have a wolf or an attack pet, theres tab's at the bottom right one of them says attack. What I've seen some people do is have one bind on their 1-0 bar or have it in their extra bar and multitask when taxing and stuff
Grab pet==> Useful for EVERY CLASS. Trust me you want this, it's unbelivable how awesome this thing is. YOu eventually start to realize how much stuff you probably missed when training otherwise
Attack Pet==> I wouldn't recommend a silk one, unless you really like the looks (sorta screwed me up when i bought my bear) but yeah... The wolf you can buy from the stable is pretty cool, up to you there.

Attack pet is really great for wizards and not because of damage it does(actually damage sucks), but because of its tanking abilities. Its like shield, i cant even count how many times a monster has spawned near me and attacked my wolf instead of me, while saving my life.

Your wolf is your tank when you lack a party, so; yes, a pet is quite useful for any int build

I dont really know why you shouldnt buy one Yeah it'll attack other players as well in jobfight. With PVP, they're automatically unsummoned. You can use your wolf to tank mobs while you're dealing the dmge. Take enough pots for your pet with you, if he dies it'll cost you 50 K for a grass

Which adds to my point. If you're getting an attacking pet (which has already been mentioned) I'd avoid silk ones and get a wolf from the stable, as they're basically exactly the same thing. However, overall I would definately recommened getting a wolf, as especially for wizards they are EXTREMELY helpful for tanking. (Even with the bard skill noise, if a champion/giant spawns right beside you it has a chance to target your pet, therefore saving your life, whereas if you didn't have one /gg to you.)

Got 2 silk ones...Im a silkwhore. Make sure you got him on non attacking untill he is in like a 3 or 4 lvl range from you
