Reinstalling Silkroad

Im having some computer issues, so if I install Silkroad again after I reinstall Windows, will I lose my characters and all the data with my account? Or is that data saved on the servers? How would I backup my character data if its on my pc?

+1. nothing is saved on your computer except for blocklist i think.
