Well, I've been hearing of this skill de-leveler quest at lvl 20, currently 18, and I've noticed many more people using Spears or Glavies than Swords and Blades. Someone killed a giant white tiger, picked up a blue Thief's Hook Glavie, dropped it, and I snatched it. :D I actually like it, so should I stay with these types of weapons and switch my mastery skills to glavies, or stick with sword/blades (I'm a lvl 14 in the Bicheon mastery).

Also, which weapon do you personally favor?

Personally? The spears look cooler. XD I picked weapon before I picked build, incidentally hybrid spear nuker is a decent build, so that's that.

=/ deleveling from 14 to 0 would take a good bit of cash. Probably not worth it, since you have LOTS of empty masteries. Once you're approaching 300, then you can delevel.

I wouldn't switch, but, whatever floats your boat.

If you're pure STR, it'd be harder to switch than if you're pure INT.

Well I'm neither pure str or int, this is my first account and I've just been leveling them equally. Since 14 is quite expensive, then I'll have to stay with my sword and blade. I still can't figure out a moneymaker, plus I don't get good drops... In any game. Thanks for the help! =)

More and more people start switching to Spear/Glaive because they deal more dmg. i wanted to switch too but im not so sure.

I'm using Sword+Shield, and the shield block saved my life some times.

Glavie can hit hard if you go str oriented and so is good when fighting monsters, however it is slow and so in PVP (player vs player) you have a good chance of being killed by a pure str blader as their hits are very fast and can get you before you can get your main hit on them (*plus if they have a sheild your main hit may also be blocked as well)

Spear is similar to glavie in the skills however is used more for Int players as its magical atk rating is higher than the physical atk rating

Blade/Sword Skills are fast hitting but dont do as much single damage as a glavie so it take longer to kill monsters. This is not an issue if you are Blade and str orientated as the more str points you have, the more damage you can take and therefore it doesnt really matter how long the mobs take to kill as they dont do much damage on you (esp with a sheild)

Sword is again aimed at int orientated builds as they are stronger magically than physically.

Hope this helps
