How often do seal items drop and are there any specific locations that they drop more often?

Completely random.
Some might get more than one in one day, while some may get none for their whole career.
Your best bet to finding one is just to keep on grinding

I have two level 20+ chars, and have personally, NEVER got an SoS drop. There is one circumstance, where I did get one though. I was just walking around, kind of grinding, kind of adventuring, and a murderer crossed my path. (I could tell, by his red name. DUH.) I killed him, naturally. His sos weapon dropped on the ground and I picked it up. I ressurected him, summoned my harmony therapy, and, after being pestered by him through pm, I sold it back to him....(It was his bow, I am a blader.)
Although I am not greedy, and it was probably a bargain....
...Anywho, so yeah. Thats actually the easiest way for me to get sos drops. But I don't keep the sos items if they're from another player.
Maybe I'll get a nice sos blade drop sometime.

sativa. you are absolutely wrong.
when you are murder, you have, i think a 20-25% chance of dropping an item when you die.
yes, you can drop equipped item as well as unequipped, this includes weapons as well.
what's funny is, when you're murder, stuff in your monkey can even drop. i had a friend who thought he was safe, so he put all his stuff in his monkey and started to grind mobs. a guy ran past him, killed him and his lvl 32 sos spear dropped from his monkey.

Quote: theres a thingy called GAME GUIDE, its very good for noobs to read a bit Maybe not such a bad idea to do some reading yourself. And when replying to someones post the use of the words bullshyt and noob are by no means necessary. Make friends, not enemies. This is taken from one of the posts of Kitary in the Q & A section : Quote: YOU WILL DROP A WEAPON ,SHIELD OR OTHER EQUIPED ITEM AT SOME POINT been lvl 15 murderer with one of my chars , and i lost my weapon enuf times to say it is so . dont belive me , lose a sos
Read the thread All your sos.... are belong to us! in Silkroad General Discussion as well. A lot of the SOS weapons that are being used by the guild Avalon on the Xian server where obtained by killing characters in murder status.
There is also some info on the subject in the FAQ in the Q & A section of this forum.
