Hi...
Currently I'm a level 30 Ice Blader, not by choice (because my gf plays 70-80 percent of the game with this account-I just do the side seat driving most of the time). I just have these to ask:

1. Is it too late to pick another skill, such as fire?

2. Is it too late to farm SP's now? My blade skill is now at 27.

3. What in God's name is a nuker?

4. How good is the ice skill in the long run???

I am currently trying to level up as much as I could, and have never done any of the three jobs before ( I still believe I'm not that strong yet-although I have some high level friends who would love to accompany me in trade runs-something I might do in the very near future cause I'm a bit gold strapped right now).

Thanks

well to answer all your questions
1. yes it is to late to pick another skill cuse if you tried it would mess your char all up and stuuf so really not an option.

2. it's not to late to start sp farming right now just that it would take a bit longer and stuff but it is still do able.

3.a nuker is a person who only uses magical attacks usually at the bottem of the imbue skills and has little health and lots of mana and they dis out alot of damage you will start to see them more often as u start to lvl higher.

4. I don't use the ice skill but from what ive seen it seems to be pritty good in the long run cuse you get the imbue witch frezzes and slows them down plus you get the good buffs and other usefull skills as well.

you could easily do a trade from dw to ja and if you really don't feel strong enought then ask one of your high lvl friends?

I hope that helps

if u really want to change skills, then just make a new char, it will save u pain and time in the long run

u can SP farm right now, its never 2 late unless u have a lvl gap of 0 at like lvl 63, the farmin would take a long long long long long(3k long) time to completely farm enough to get what u want

nuker is guy who use purely magical attacks, usually the second to last skill on the list (right above the passive)

only the high lvl ice skills are useful!!! also, the high lvls CAN and WILL make their accessories have lots of ice reduce, almost to the point of immunity(based off the idea of the percentage ratio thing of abnormal status errors) and u will, no let me get this point across, u WILL SUK IN PVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! make a new char or sp farm like CRAZY!!!!!

Thanks for the answers. I guess Im pretty much stuck with Ice, but i do notice some having the ice and fire ability, how do they manage with it anyway.

By the way it is possible to build accessory which can resist fire damage too right, same as ice?

you could easily get another skill if you only have 2 now. at the new lvl cap of 80 that would mean you would have used 160 of the 300 available with two skill tree's maxed out.that leaves 140 to use in another tree. I don't know what kind of build your character is but i would go in the light tree. does decent damage and gives you grass walk.there are other helpful skills in that tree also.I don't know if you have skills in other tree's though. if all you have is cold and bicheon and nothing in any other tree i would add light. you would even have enough to get fire to the cap (80) if your cold is below lvl 60. you will have to farm sp though which you can do when ever you want really. just find green mobs that spawn fast and go crazy.hope this helps, have fun.

am not sure about this, but i dont think increaseing the level mastery increases damage etc does it?

if so, whats the point in increasing other masteries to 80 apart from 1? since all skills stop at 69...

I have ice and light. Ice will actually help you own a lot of people for PvP. It's the 5% of players that are capped out that will be nearly immune to it - who would mess with them anyway? lol

The ice imbue does do a lot less damage than fire or light but it's got it's advantages too.

Main thing you probably want to do at this point (to build a good char) is put all of your stat points from now on into strength. Somehow I doubt a pure str ice blader would get completely owned by a pure str fire blader, it will become a pot/gear battle i think, it just doesn't make that huge of a difference when you both have like 8,000hp.

Wouldn't want to have a noobish non-cookiecutter build like me now would ya? You'll just get owned by the 60% (of server population) pure str fire glavies and the 30% fire/light nukers.. ah gg.

I for one will stick with my crappy build I think. I'll just pick on low-levels lol. Yeah that'll be more fun than trading blows with a clone of myself for 30 minutes til one of us runs out of pots or hits a couple crits in a row.

/play for fun.

u sure can but they will never be able to dicrease the 100% of an error status but because you are a blader ( u got a shield i hope  ) u can have Fire Shield Series that dicreases the effect of error status such as ice light and fire :D so if you got a full set that has ( max can have up to 20% error status dicrease ) 20% error status dicrease then thats 4 x 20% = 80 % but you will still have the 20% on you so thats where your Fire Shield Series will help you

with a good fire shield yuo need nowhere near 80% from jewelry. at max yuo only need 22% from jewelry, probably mid 30s low forties at lower lvls.

wow thanks for the feedback, it helps me a lot.....

anyway, I am currently going all full STR in stat (believe it or not until level 24 ish, i didn't know anything about stats, so i was playing with the default stat all throughout until that lvl.....), and my light and fire is currently at level 12. Force is around that lvl, and I won't go any further. There are some useless things I have to remove from force so either I have to buy the skill pots from item mall or do the resusitation quest.

so with a pure STR (ice force) blader built(and yes I do own a shield...SOS shield I picked up from an Earth Ghost-gf was so jealous that I picked it up instead of her ahahahaha), should I go for Fire or Lightning as my secondary? need help here b4 I decide. I'm thinking of lightning (nothing to do with my dad's profesion as a electrician)

you have to increase your masteries to get the skills to do more damage anyway. what skills do you get with a lvl 1 mastery? and if he has ice and does run into someone who is imune it would be nice to be able to switch to fire or light.you have 300 mastery points to work with, you may as well use some of them.you can add other skills then to from the other mastery tree you go in.

Dont have pic but when you scroll over the little bow/sword/spear/cold/fire/light/force icon. It tells you that with each level increased it goes up by 1%. or something like that.
I'm in School so I can't log on. ill post a pic later maybe...
