Hey,
Im new to this forum but if anyone could be so kindly to help me out with some questions.
Im a pure int based char, and training for Nuker.
But the problem is i do not have enough SP.
You get SP by spfarming. I all know this. (aint my first char)
But how do i spfarm the most quickest way.
I hate the point of deleveling, because i only know 1 way of deleveling and that is by getting killed a full level.
But as impatient as i am i need SP.
Because i need to do allot of skills before i can go over to nuking once i reach the level.
Im lvl 25 and my Mastery Gap is only 1. My mastery is on 24.
So i do not get allot of SP by killing. But still i need thoose SP so much.
Can any of you tell me a way of good SP leveling without getting bored after a few days???

Here's what you do:

-Leave all your skills where they are but level up your weapon mastery to keep a zero gap, do not level up any of the skills or other masteries.

-Once you're within one level of your planned gap (If I were you I'd make it an 8 gap at 32 and then keep it at 9 as long as you can handle) you start collecting curst hearts.
So you hit your desired level to farm at fairly fast since you're leveling with no gap.

-Once you hit 32 (or whatever) use some gold and your skill reallocation potions to level your weapon mastery back down to lvl24.
Boom, instant 8 gap, start farmin.

This saves you the pain of leveling to a 9 gap (takes forever though you do have 10-15k sp by the time you get there typically). At those levels it probably won't cost more than 500k to delevel that mastery down 8 levels.

I hope you agree that this method is the shizznizzle, I just took advantage of it for the first time and I'm stoked to be lvl52 with a kickass weapon (and a 5 gap now) rather than still trying to get to 52 with a 5 gap.

Cheers

I have a level 17 blader that has SP placed willy nilly all over. I may end up trying to delevel him eventually but for now I have started a new pure str/glav.

I don't know if I have read this particular fact and I have read a lot of the threads. I am keeping as high a level gap as I can between my charac level and my wep and skills to farm and I am coming along nicely.

What I need to know if which makes more difference in sp farming?

Keeping a gap between your charac level and your wep level or keeping the gap between your charac level and your mastery level? It may be both but if I am going to start moving one up would it be wep or fire? I still am going to keep a 4 gap level but I am moving my charac to level 10 shortly. Thanks all.

the most efficient way to sp farm is to have a 9lvl gap. its a fact, less or more than 9gap is not worth it.

The lvl gap counts for both your weapon skills or your magic skills. only the highest mastery will count towars your 9 lvl gap.

if you have bow at 7 and fire at 8. and your char is 16. then you have 8 lvl gap. if your fire is 7 and your bow is 8, then you again have 8 lvl gap. only the highest mastery counts, it doesnt matter if you have weapon or magic.

Thanks COS. I had hoped I could level up the wep and leave the fire skill lower and still have the gap but I guess not. I have moved it to a 5 level gap now but I guess I better try to move the gap further apart. I don't mind grinding but then again you kill just so many ghosts around Jangan before you gotta go kill a tiger.... lol.

Back to the grind......thanks again

at lvl 16 you can go kill archers in the stronghold, they are inside there. they are lvl 12. and with a 9 lvl gap and in a 4man party you get 278sp per kill.

Thanks again COS. I have only been playing for about a month and I have always solo'd it. I guess I need to start looking at partying up. I always see hunting parties going on but I never investigated further.

You only get 139 SP per kill without a golden ticket :O It's still hella fast though.

Cool thanks. I can get about 100 I think for the Yeoha and there are plenty around the exorcist house (plus a bunch of thieves hanging out around the bridge - thankfully a hunter will come by and pop them usually)and I ventured to a few young tigers last night but I had the 100% temp increase (is that the golden ticket?) and I don't know quite how much SP vs EP I was getting but there weren't enough around and I don't need to run into a tiger much less a tiger champion just yet. I would waste all my pots probably for one kill and the SP wouldn't be worth the trip limping back to Jangan......

THis is my first "real" MMORPG (old UT, Duke, Quake, Diablo player). I am loving it and already addicted after only a few weeks.

Thanks for all the help in the forums.

To give ya a straight forward answer. Heres the best times to farm with your build also im not too good with int builds so im sorry if theres mistakes:

-Lvl 16 to 18 at bandit archers (best for all builds). Only for this time do u want to use a bow over ur perfered weapon
-Lvl 52 or higher (as long as theyre still white/green) at penons or shades. These have great spawns and nukes really speed up your farming
-Lvl 68 (sooner or later if u perfer) at nachals. Once again great spawn and these shouldn't do too much dmg, especially if ur in garmets.

You could also do lvl 42 if u perfer. but just remember the key thing about int builds is u want to farm with nukes, which means farming at lets say lvl 32 or 24, wouldnt work too well in my opinion.

well, level to 29, then start killing mobst of 3 levels above you, then DELEVEL, yes, you dont like it, but if you want so much SP with a 6 lvl gap, you have to delevel man... im sorry

farm about 10-12k, and then lvl to 30, make your nukes, and start owning ppl

Thinking about this.....I would prefer the bow against bandit archers but if I am keeping my gap (8 now) and not putting SP into anything but my wep (Heuk) and my imbue(Fire), how the heck am I going to kill archers with no bow skills? Right now it takes 8 shots to kill a Yeoha so grinding over at the Exorcist House, I can use up 3 full (250) Quivers of arrows in an hour. So the question is, do I use some of my SP to level up the bow mastery (still maintain my 8 level farming gap) level up whatever bow skill that will give me (Anti I think I could get to) and use that to farm archers OR do I just use my fire imbue and my regular bow/skillz which really eats up MP?

using a decent 16 bow with your skills at 7 (9 gap), you have 2 levels of imbue, 1 level of antidevil and multi arrow. Anti devil + imbue and a reg shot should kill any bandit archer. using an sos+3 bow you can imbue and usually 2 shot with imbue using no other skill. It helps to have str + int on your gear.

True and I have Blue on my Lvl 10 bow but if I am following PURE STR/FIRE HEUK - I haven't read anywhere that I should waste (not necessarily a waste if it gets u lvl'd up quicker) any SP on anything but the 2 trees (3 to get GW from Lightning). I know I can use it as it best fits me and not based on a cookie cutter mold but I just was looking for thoughts from those that have or are following a Pur/str/fire/heuk...... 8)

i think u can either delevel, or leave your mastery at where its at now. save up and get good lvl 32 weapon. glavie cost around 8-12 mil and once u are lvl 32 dlevel your mastery, get armor and kill headless ghosts.
