Scorpion quest

Hi , im doing the scorpion quest.
But i only got 12 quest item drops at the time i got 25 % , is this normal ?
Do i only get the drops from scorpions and not black scorpions ?

Black scorpions doesn't have poison. Kill only Scorpions.

i hate that quest. I killed atleast 200 scorpions and got 40. so its really random i guess
