1. Cannot connect due to server traffic / Disconnected from the server
This morning (Sunday) I've been trying for basically two hours straight to log in, but there are too many people playing. (I succeeded once, but I got disconnected quickly and a ?????? error after trying to change a game setting)
a) Is there a better way to try to log in other than enter your name/password, hold Enter until the code thing comes up, and input that as fast as possible? (Does that have to be fast?)
b) Is everybody else unable to log in during weekends?
c) Does anybody have a schedule of when is best to be able to log in?
d) Why isn't Silkroad doing anything about this?

2. Stall Confusion
a) Why do so many people set up their stalls around a tiny area in Jangan, so that each one doesn't stand out very much?
b) Do people actually buy things from stalls that often?
c) Is it okay for me to leave stuff up in a stall and go do something else, and, if so, for how long?

3. Skills Confusion
a) I'm level 14. Skill-wise, is it reasonable to focus on Anti devil bow-Missile/White hawk summon (Pacheon); Self breathe heal/Heal-Medical hand (Force); and, less so, River fire force (Fire)?
b) I'm mastery level total 44/300, Fire lvl 11 and Lightning lvl 5. I'm thinking I should have done focused on lightning instead. Is it too late to change that without wasting skills?
c) How fast should I level up my various skills, relative to each other?
d) Does the resurrect spell in Force work on yourself?
e) How fast do you get SP?

4. Monster Confusion
a) I've read contradicting answers to this: Do you ever lose items when you die from monsters if you don't lose a level? If that's the case, then you only have to worry about dying if the green bar is less than 2%, right?
b) Do the drop rates of each monster change based on your own level?

5. Other Confusion
a) I use Anti devil bow-missile for 1 or 2 shots per monster, but regular arrows for the rest. How much do my own and my gear's magic stats affect me, then?
b) How come auto-pickup only occasionally works?
c) Does auto-potion only work with potions, and not skills?
d) I currently use all protector armor. What determines if (when?) I should use armor, protector, or garment?
e) Is there any way to see your own speed?
f) Where can I find a price guide?
g) Why do people spend actual money or lots of gold to display inane chatting to everyone on their server?
h) After level 20, are you constantly in danger of being pk'd?
i) Do you/how do you report botters?
j) Under the Actions tab, there are Control Created Monster/Control Summoned Monster sections. How do you create or summoned monsters?
k) Is there a way to turn off the hints?
l) How do people float?
m) How do you/can you set up a key to un-select a target? (i.e., not have to click the X in the upper right of the little window in the top middle of the screen)

there's no better way to login, just type as fast as you can and click submit. It usually only takes me about 10 minutes on Greece. But i'm a fast typer.
b) Is everybody else unable to log in during weekends?
everyone has the same problems logging in. For me, it's the middle of the day on weekdays and weekends.
c) Does anybody have a schedule of when is best to be able to log in?
like I said, it's tough for the middle of the day for me, but i'm EST so it may be different elsewhere.
d) Why isn't Silkroad doing anything about this?
The ultimate question that they will never answer. They just add more servers and leave the old ones alone. I don't think it'll ever change

2. Stall Confusion
a) Why do so many people set up their stalls around a tiny area in Jangan, so that each one doesn't stand out very much?
They do that in all the towns, they see a bunch of stalls so everyone just puts their stalls next to them. I personally don't do that. Mine is off to the side a little so that everyone can see it, but people don't like to move around much while shopping, so everything is pretty close together
b) Do people actually buy things from stalls that often?
I buy almost all my stuff from stalls and I sell as much as i can from stalls. Stalls are cheaper than NPC stores or they have better items. You can also make more money from selling in a stall as opposed to selling to the NPC stores. So yea, they buy. I usually sell out of everything in less than 24 hours, but that's just cuz i sell for good prices.
c) Is it okay for me to leave stuff up in a stall and go do something else, and, if so, for how long?
it's fine to leave stuff up in the stall and go out. That's how a lot of people do it, me included. I would say that you shouldn't leave your character stalled for more than 12 hours. During the busy hours, be kind and log out if you're not selling anything. When it's not busy, feel free to leave it up and try to sell out.

3. Skills Confusion

I'm not a bow user so I can't give the best advice here. I do know this: Fire is the best for power and strength. The hawks aren't that great, but some people like them. Force is almost pointless... especially self breathe heal. Just get heal-medical hand if you want. You can select yourself by hitting shift then clicking your character, then you can use heal medical hand to heal yourself. You get a lot more HP per use.

You can change it if you want, but most people prefer fire to lightning. IF you want to change, just stop putting SP into fire and start putting it into lightning then use the lvl 20 quest to lower your fire if you want to get rid of it. But I would suggest keeping fire.
c) How fast should I level up my various skills, relative to each other?
I keep all my masteries about the same and according to my current gap. Either a 9 gap or a 0 gap. So yea, everyone does it different. It depends on whether or not you are farming or gapping the whole way.
d) Does the resurrect spell in Force work on yourself?
Nope, you can only res yourself with the potion from the Silk mall
e) How fast do you get SP?
currently farming at lvl 32 with an 8 gap. I can 2 hit hyengcheons and I get 1 SP for every 3 kills.

From what I've heard, that's Wrong. You can lose items at anytime when you die.

It's all random. Some mobs seem to drop less than others, but it's supposed to be completely random. For me, it seems like I don't get near as many drops as I used to at lower levels.

No idea on that. I'm pretty sure that magic doesn't do much if you're not actually using magic in the attack.

I always hit "g" and sometimes it lags. But other than lag, I don't think there's a problem.

Only pots. It used to be able to work with skills, but they fixed that bug.

Personally, I use what I need when I need it. If I know I'm going to be killing taoists, I use garment. If I'm going to be killing hyengcheons, I use armor. I don't use protector unless it's better than my current armor. But use armor for strength based mobs and garment for int based mobs. Or use your character opposite for PVP. For example, pure str's should use garment and pure int's should use armor.
e) Is there any way to see your own speed?
No? I know you can figure out the percentage of increase, but that's about it.
f) Where can I find a price guide?
Depends on what you're looking for and depends on what server. Check the marketplace in this forum to find common prices on items.
g) Why do people spend actual money or lots of gold to display inane chatting to everyone on their server?
You get globals through the item mall. I don't know why people always get them. If they have left over silk, then they might spend it on that. But I think it's pointless unless you want to sell an awesome item. But these forums work well enough for that.
h) After level 20, are you constantly in danger of being pk'd?
I've never been PK'ed. Just don't piss anyone off and you'll be fine.
i) Do you/how do you report botters?
I see em, but it's near pointless to report them. I PK a few of them or get some giants together to kill em all. But Joymax doesn't do much in that regard.
j) Under the Actions tab, there are Control Created Monster/Control Summoned Monster sections. How do you create or summoned monsters?
You can buy monster summon scrolls from past events, but I'm not too sure about that. I never bought or used one.
k) Is there a way to turn off the hints?
Escape, Options, Game, deselect "hints" or anything else you want.

What happens if you want to destroy or recreate your guild? (what aspects of your current guild do you lose and keep?)

How many friends do you recommend having before you form your own guild?

Stall frustration
I have between 1 and 150 of lvl I, II, and III fire, water, and earth elements, and a few tablets, that I want to sell. But nobody's buying them, or even appearing interested. (I tried selling them in groups of 20 at 500 - 1k each, in Oasis.) How low in price do I have to go to sell them relatively quickly?

Where should I put a stall to expedite that?

How long should you expect to wait for somebody to buy your stuff?

And I'll put these two out there again for anyone else...

float is a special character
green trail is a skill

dont know i have never lost an item from dying ant trust me i have died alot

it is for lvl 3 guilds i belive so i dont kn0ow my guild is lvl 2 still

you loose everything there is no sp transfer

it dosent really matter i try to keep at least 8 in guild wich isnt xtreemely hard

i would try by grocery trader because other alchemy items are sold there or in the other mob of stallers try titiling you stal so everyone knows you have elements

if you have an extra pc you could just creat a character and leave him stalling your stuff constantly
