I'm a newbie, and I'm making a pure INT spear character (fire). What job should I take in the future? Is it a thief, merchant, or hunter? I want to make lots of money, btw ^^

thanks guyz :P

they all have pros and cons -- totally up to you.

but when you're a low-level, all three jobs suck for you. if you're a thief, you easily get 1-shotted. if you're a hunter, you easily get 1-shotted [plus you can barely kill any thieves]. if you're a trader, you usually get 1* popped.

when you're a higher level though, trade or thief. hunters don't really make money (unless it's the people you're protecting). i'd say it's about fun and not money! :D

Trading is probably the best thing until level 30-40+.
You would probably try a little thieving then, but still do mostly trades.

I've never really seen why you would want to be a hunter other than to kill people. That's why I do it sometimes :D

Yah try all three jobs.

Want to save up money: Trading
Want Quick Money ( Willing to Risk it) : Theif
Want to do the whole saving justice thing: Hunter

Well, your a Pure INT Nuker you said? Spear? Go Thief
You can nuke the hunters away :P

You can do Hunter also, basically vice versa of thief, blow the thieves away :)

There are too many Thieves that 1* Pop Traders do definetly go hunter
or do trades if you can kill 7th-8th Deg NPC thieves

since you are a newbie maybe you should know that the job
you choose doesnt have to be the job you shall have during
your whole "silkroad career". you can change jobs at any time
same as if you choose a glavie to start with on a new char. you
can always swap to bow.

Ok...here's how goes...usually NPC thiefs get spawned onto you automatically by the server so you don't get bored..usually the nuber of thiefs equals the number of stars(as far as i know and 've seen).now only problem is...little homos at gaymax didn't botehr to add some 2 lines of extra code and thiefs attack the first thing they see...just like an agrro mob...it could be players grinding, player they're actually after, or even an unsuspecting merchant :)...and you can imagine if a thief has 5* worth of goods, out of 5 npcs spawned one is likely to hit you...and honestly...no lvl 25 can face a 60+NPC...so you can do popping aswell but at lvl 20 there will be nobody to pop :))popping usually works with a high difference in levels...Of course, you can always find retards who are proud they pop but most of us do it because nobody does 2*(or at least i hope that's why :D )
