How is the durability reduction over time calculated? (I want to be able to estimate how long it takes for my weapon/armor to break)

I had a stall and my inventory open when SRO closed for the server check tonight. Am I in danger of losing anything?

If you have grass walk-Flow on while you're on a horse, does it make the horse go faster? (would like answers for both trade horses and regular speed horses)

I have a Lvl. 3 Stone of Int I'd like to sell for at least 250k. But it seems that people with Degree 3 weapons are almost never going to have enough gold and knowledge to buy a stone for alchemy... how can I sell this thing? (and should I be in Jangan or DW to do this?)

Is the improvement in the items you get from being at a lower level with respect to monsters significant enough that I could get really good items by fighting high-level monsters?

What level of completely normal bow is a Lv. 16 SOM bow +3 comparable to?

I'm pacheon. How should I arrange the int/str points when I gain levels?

Popping has made trading not fun for me to the point that I've basically quit. Is the ease with which player thieves can destroy traders something Joymax is ok with/lets happen on purpose? The popping ability basically seems like a bug to me, and I don't get why more people aren't really, really, really, really, really pissed off about its prevalence.

What are the chances of finding SOX items from monsters, and is there anything that can affect them?

thanks again

No.

Jangan, sell it to farmers for their bows.

You don't get better drops just because the monster is higher level than you. It'll drop whatever it is supposed to drop.

29

However you want. You should be pure str as a bow user.

Just one of the perils of trading. If you're careful, you can avoid poppers just by going down unused paths.

What are the chances of finding SOX items from monsters, and is there anything that can affect them?
The chances are low and nothing affects it.

So it's only uniques where your level affects the drops?

Wikipedia ( 8) ) says bows use a little more magical attack than physical... so why should bow users be pure strength?

I know that's what you have to do. But I'm wondering what Joymax's stance on popping is... that is, is it supposed to be a major element of the trade system, as it is now?

But how low? Like something in terms of days, hours farming, and monsters you're killing... I'd just like a rough estimate from anyone...

thanks again again.

What? No. The item the monster drops is based on its level. The chances of it dropping an item is based on the difference between your level and its level. Fighting a higher level monster won't make it drop special items. In fact, you're unlikely to get many drops if fighting red mobs.

All weapons have a higher magic attack than physical. A str bow user supposedly can deal the most damage in the game with crit, and it's also a good tank and unique killer.

It's an exploit that was unforseen by Joymax. In the data files, there's info on NPC hunters that hopefully thieves will spawn in the future. Right now just deal with it.

Well, I've been playing since October and I found 3. My roommate started in March and found 6. It's just a very rare drop. Don't count on finding one ever. It's best just to play as if you're never going to find one.

thanks again again.

What are the effects of murderer status and what's required to get it off you?
You slowly lose HP, you can be attacked by anyone over level 20, and when you die you can drop anything from your inventory and anything you have equipped except your weapon. Depending on how many people you killed, you have a certain number of points. Getting killed gets rid of a lot at once. You can also kill a monster to lose one point. Since last time I went murder I got 1400 points, I would have had to kill 1400 monsters to grind it off. It was easier to just get killed 7 times.
Can someone explain the distinctions among exp/item distribution/auto-share? I can't find a clear explanation anywhere. :(
Exp distribution parties are for up to 4 people. For each person in the party (not counting the first one), you recieve a 5% XP and SP bonus per kill. Since the max you can have is 4 people, you can get a 15% bonus. The players do not have to be near each other to get the bonus and no exp is shared. Exp shared parties split the exp with nearby players. Item distribution parties are just like grinding solo: you get the kill, you get the items. Item share parties cycle who gets the item. Anyone in range can get an item if it's their turn to get one. It goes down the list of names, looping back up to the top when it's given an item to the last person. Gold is divided equally in item auto share.

Hope that helps.
