What does plussing a garment or weapon do? I suppose it adds attack or def. But whats the formula to find out just how much it adds?
If a weapon sais +1, it means - in the most simple terms - that
the weapons stats are 1 level higher than the original weapons
level. so a +5 weapon level 8 is approx. the same as a level 13
weapon.
then there is, if you didnt know yet, the soX weapons, where X
stands for S, M or Sun; seal of Star, Moon or Sun.
Seal of Star is approx. 5 levels above item level (so similar to +5)
Seal of Moon is approx. 10 levels above item level (so similar to +10)
Seal of Sun is approx. 15 levels above item level (so similar to +15)
Plussing items you do with intensifying elixirs. they can be either
found off mob drops or bought from other players stalls.
If you upgrade between +1 and +3 and the item fails, it will go back
to +0, no harm done.
If you upgrade over +3/+4, the item may be destroyed when it fails
first try get immortal on the item.
Also if i try to upgrade a weapon to give a higher crit rate. If it fails will my crit rate go below what it started at? I have a lev 21 bow with 10 crit. I'd like to get it a little higher if possible.
Crit rate is upgrading with stones, made from a combination
of tablets and elements. it is a matter of pure luck. some ppl get
the crit from 2 to 15, others get it from 12 to lower and never get
it back above 10.
difficult part is assimilation. there is a percentage that sais what
the chance is for other stats on your item to change with the stone.
you may get your block ratio up, but your crit might go down while
you do so.
hope that answered some questions.
btw crit 10 is fine for a 21 weapon. you will be needing a new one soon.
