I tried logging on today and it said that my character was already logged on. I logged on my other account and sure enough, I am logged on. I had a guild member find my character and he is just standing near the jewelry merchant, complete with all gear and bow. Now, if I was somehow hacked, wouldn't the hacker take all of my stuff and log off or, at least, be playing my character? Is there any way to get my character to randomly DC? My fiance and I tried spamming the log in constantly trying to force a DC to no avail.
Is there anyway to get my character to DC or have JM DC my character?
Thanks

When you tele to Thief Den, he will be DC'd. Log out and try to get your account back. But, he wont stall and your pass and id are already changed. As well as all your gear is either sold, transferred or given away. Oh, I almost forgot, you probably have lvl 15 murder too.
or just get a guilde to dc him with that. btw does that trick still work?

well, thats interesting if in case for some reason the game just screwed up, best case possible and you truly weren't hacked just wait untill weekly maintenance it'll disconnect every one on there. Of course if you were hacked that sucks.

Well, after waiting 2.5 hours and myself and my fiance' spamming the login trying to force a disconnect I watched my main character either log off or DC. My fiance' immediately logged me in on her computer and, amazingly, I still had all of my stuff and gold. I am not sure what might have happened, but I am glad I don't have to quit and start paying WoW with my fiance'. It took me 18 months to get to level 64 and I do not want to have to do that again.
BTW, both my password and email have been changed several time since this happened along with some of the other profile information that you can change.

Keep us Updated. I would advise moving all of your gold and stuff to your friends or a mule account

maybe just the server didn't register your log off in the first place, hence your account was still 'in use' when you were trying to log in. very similiar to the case where Neo was still jacked in the system when he stopped the group of sentinels
