when i saw this topic i wanted to see if this was possible hehe, well i got it to work.
its similar to Crumpets tut:

BUT what differently you do is, after when you search in
Text string: raretype
Scope from: Begin
Direction: Down
(i noticed the C_RARE_HONOR below searching raretype but the degree of weapons for the honor glow is only up to 8th and 9th degree. dont ask why it just is.)
search up either
"ITEM_(CH or EU)_(what weapon)_(08 or 09)C_RARE_HONOR
so lets say i wanted to change my normal +3 5th degree glaive.
just search ITEM_CH_TBLADE_08_C_RARE_HONOR and yes i notice what i want to search is 8th degree but my glaive is 5th degree so im gettin there.
so after i search, i deleted the _RARE_HONOR.
so now it shows "ITEM_CH_TBLADE_08_C
NOW i switch the 08 to 05 so now it would be
"ITEM_CH_TBLADE_05_C.
now from here similar to Crumputs Step 6, i look down ITEM_CH_TBLADE_05_C
a lil bit to find 0D & 0A
BUT
when you insert the 5 zeros, you add 11 zeros instead of 5 to make the file size how it was before you deleted those bytes.
so from there follow Step 7 to Step 11 in Crumpets tut.
so after i save the media.pk2 in my SRO folder my 5th degree glaive will have the 8th degree seal of honor glow
im sorry if you dont get it or understand or w/e.
i was just too lazy to make up a tut like 83247641789326 long so people can understand it better, if i feel like it later on ill make it more understand-able.
