How come my contribution didnt go up when i helped a trader?
He was level 21 trader and i was level 27 hunter...
Do i not get money if i help out people lower leveled?
or do i have to refresh it by going in and out of the game

You have to be in the same party as the trader AND you have to be near the trader when he's cashing in his loot. If you meet both those requirements then you should get hunter exp for every stack of loot the trader cashes in plus your small cut of the gold.
