Curst Heart Quest Bug?

So ive started The Curst Heart Quest. as soon as i had the ammount that i needed (30 curst hearts) ive got back to town and deliver them. and i was done but i thaught ah w/e il just start it again and again and again but everytime i start it again i keep getting them faster.

is that just some bug that it the monster drops them faster everytime that i start it or just pure luck and it just looks like they drop it faster?

I'd say it is pure luck. Just like some of the quests where you gotta find a ring or sword, sometimes you get them on the first kill, other times it takes 3 days to get it. This game is all about luck from the sox drops down to the alchemy success rates. Good job though, keep cranking them out.
