well I'm lvl 22 right now and I'm getting power farmed at ongs, I just want to know what lvl gap between me and the monsters I'm getting partied at should be to get the max amount exp. If anything could you explain the concept of party exp auto share and how the exp distribution works.

to get the best sp/exp...you have to have a 11 lvl gap between your lvl and the monster's lvl. ALSO, it's best to have a 9 gap to get the max sp you need (if your sp farming). so for example:

lvl 32(right?) ongs
your lvl : 21
your highest mastery lvl: 12

also if the average lvl of your party is below the lvl of the mob you are fighting...you'll get double sp ( i believe). for example:

you have a lvl 80 plvler, your lvl 22 char = 102(total lvls) / 2 (# of ppl in party) = 61 which is way over 32 (the lvl of ongs) so you won't get the extra bonus

but if your in a party with a lvl 80, 20, 20, 20, 20 = 160/5 = 32 = good enough for the bonus :D

also having only euros in your party helps a bit in exp gainage (thats what i heard anyways)

Party distribution is a party with 4 players in it, a 4/4 party. It gives a small bonus on your total xp points, 2 or 3 % but I'm not sure. You are able to see the player icons of your party always lighted up, the distance between you and your party fellows isn't changing anything to that little bonus.

Party sharing is a party with max 8 players in it. Player icons that are close to each other are showed highlighted, they will share the XP and SP that a monster gives when it is killed. If 4 icons are visible and you kill a monster giving 1000 XP, you and you four mates will each receive 200 XP, the players with a grey icon nothing. Autoshare parties spawn special mobs around them, the party monsters, harder and longer to kill but giving 7 times more xp than a normal monster.

When you kill a monster the XP and SP that it gives is not fixed but depends of your gap. That gap is the difference between your global level and your highest mastery. Your global level is 22, if your highest mastery is 22 you play with a gap 0. If your highest mastery is 20 you play with a gap 2. At gap zero you receive a lot of xp and not that much SP. At gap 9 (highest gap that players use, gap 10 isn't giving nothing more) you receive a lot of SP and not much XP when you kill a monster. Sooner or later everyone runs out of SP and players start gapping, it means that they don't touch their masteries during a couple of levels, the time to collect a nice amount of SP, then they close the gap back to a low gap and continue levelling up.

For the rest I refer to salmissra post ^^

If you are in a guild you can always ask your guild mates for more explanation.
