I'm getting the classic ??? message. Since I switched to the Korean IME like that fix a while back suggested, I found that it's just in korean. So, can anyone tell me what the korean text means? Might be able to figure out what to do a little better in that case.

yes, ive tried the fix posted previously

no, the text isnt highlightable, can't shove it through babelfish

Well I cant read korean.

But I am a good guesser :D. It looks like a classic "Hey this program crashed, do you mind if we send a bit of your computer data to our servers to try to figure out what happened" screen.

Like when a windows component fails, and it asks you if you want to send your non personal information.

Just a guess...

This is a crash from the game. You need to update your video drivers.

Thats why I asked him... could be the problem

but with an athlon 64 and 1 gig of ram I wouldnt think he would be running a vid card thats something like 6 years old. I was wondering if the software was reading the card wrong.

Well it works now..all I had to do was turn off the sound. That card can run FFXI on high sans the lag, despite it's age. It was a gift, never really had the need to replace it.
