Doesn't look like anything bad/ Does your anti-virus software show a threat rating?

It happened with me too. I downloaded and used AVG for 3 days. First it "healed" (deleted) the SRO_Client.exe file (saying it was that trojan thing [had to reinstall sro])and then everytime I did a scan it used to find all those "warnings" exactly like yours did. I moved all that and deleted from the virus vault and the next day everything was back. I just uninstalled AVG, and now im with avast!. I seriously doubt that that is serious.

If you're using ie6, switch to firefox or get ie7 at the very least.
Download Ad-Aware, that will let you remove "Cool Web Search".

Believe me, I wouldn't post a link that is damaging. I work as an IT consultant and it annoys me to have to remove these kinds of things, so I would not inflict the same annoyance on others.

Fine, download it directly from TrendMicro. The thing is, coolwebsearch is an old program and CWshredder may not be updated much anymore.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CoolWebSearch

Link to Trendmicro's page (no longer updated much)

Another option is to manually hack it out, but it's not much fun, as I have done it myself on client's PC's.

The other thing is to use a web-based scan to find it. Looks to me like AVG is only catching registry settings, so it may be residual of a CWS infection.

Best bet is to format & reinstall, or just put up with it. I can't tell from the screenshots if you're really infected.

looks like avg needs some work to do

as lobster said the results from ur scan are not harmful they all seem to be registry settings for ActiveX to internet explorer which is not harmful at all.

ok 1st thing is to remove AVG anivirus cause it su.cks. It reporting many game files, and harmless .dll files as virus.

Second it is anoying spyware program and it can make your life harder. Especialy if you are underaged and it redirects you to porn sites or pay per click adds and it can install more spyware and adware.

3rd it is writen for IE but it works on Mozila in some variations. So if you are using IE please try to find some other more secure browser.

And last coolwebsearch is using new methods to evade detection and removal.

You can try some of the folowing programs for removal:
CWShredder and McAfee's Beta Command-Line Scanner

Dont use Windows' System Restore because it can hide in the system restore files.

PS: boot windows in safe mode and try to clean it from there.
if it doesnt work easy way is to format C: drive and reinstall
system
PPS: dont wisit harmfull sytes anymore :)
