Lol - it happens. I used to work in the IT Department of a $5-Billion corporation. We had a maintenance contract with IBM so when one of 'my' computers had a similar problem it was a easy fix: call IBM.
Long story short, after looking at the problem the IBM tech came to my office.

That was quick," I said.
The IBM Techie glanced at my co-workers in the office with us and asked, "
May I speak to you privately?"

No, that's okay, just tell me," I replied.

The monitor wasn't plugged in."
