Well, sry for disappointing you, but you cant get 8D sox from lvl 76+ mobs (because its the start of 9D)
Long ago I got a 5D sox from a 4D mob, so I think it would be the best to kill lvl 64-70 mobs, just to be sure xD
No, you can get 8D sun from mages and generals, that's who drops 'em. They drop 9D alachemy items, and they probably will drop 9d gear too, but they drop 8D sun (lvl 64 I believe).
However, they aren't dropping ANY sun. I've been getting some 8D drops from mages, but mostly prot/garm pieces.
