I looked for any threads related to duoing and there were none, so I'm starting my own.

My friend and I are going to be duoing a wizard and warrior.

I have already went Wizard/Cleric but he is still a Warrior, is it worth him going a bard or would a cleric still be supererior?

How exactly should we go out doing this duo, as in PVE grinding?

Right now we are planning on doing a 0-3 gap till atleast 20ish then starting a bigger gap.

Any suggestions on wat build the warrior should go, 1h/shield grab all the mobs then I AOE?

Thank you.

He was not referring to himself being a warrior with wizard subclass or the other way around.

Well, as far as your question is concerned...
Duo-ing doesn't work really well in SRO. The best way to play an European is in 8 man parties. If you really want to duo, try it out, but as far as I can tell, it won't be nearly as productive as 8 man parties are.

For tanking, 1h is better than 2h, but 2h deals considerably more damage. You can tank well with 2h too, though. Try both of them a little bit at the beginning and see what you like more. Then, you can decide on one of them, or, if you want to farm a little bit, you could potentially have both. :)

Excuse me!
If you mean full intelligence Warrior-Wizard, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6MwFKIORK0,
PM me and I'll explain the "what", "how" and "huh"'s on that build.
(Cause otherwise I might forget this thread  )
If you're talking about full strength Warrior-Wizard,
PM Barotix.

though you could probably have the warrior go one hand and yuo heal with cleric, duoing wont be too effective. joining 8 mans around your lvl will help a lot more, since you will probably have a cleric or two your friend can go 2 hand to dish out mroe dmg, and you can just go wiz to help kill mobs faster.

IMO never duo if u can have more people in a party (Unless pt has idiots, which is too common). With a 7 man or full pt, u can easily pt against mobs that are 9-10 levels higher, and get the best possible exp (unless mobs have bad spawn rate)
If your duoing.. well make sure the warrior always has recovery division, otherwise the warrior dies quite easily without iron skin. I would recommend grinding at orange mobs, that arent at huge spawn rate spots. And yeah, the warrior should be 1H (block helps, so does shield trash), pulling mobs, while the wiz AoE. If your not 1H, you can expect yourself to die more easily.. so be more careful.
As euros, I would try to avoid gapping, but gap a little just to get important skills/level them up like iron skin, physical fence, hp increase, taunt, and to get recovery division for the warrior (level 1 is good enough in my opinion). You should mainly start gapping around 70 when you dont have to worry about keeping up with other euros since around 68+ is when u start fighting your last mob.

another tip: a 3man party is better: wiz/cleric(damage + backup) warrior/cleric(tank), rogue/bard(pulling and killing)
