Alright So I have read alot of guides here and there and even talked to my guild leader ( Who first inspired me to make one ) and there are still some questions I still need answers to. So any advice is appreciated.
A few things to keep in mind-
1.) I have played many games such as GuildWars, Runescape and a few
others, leveling and skills are nothing new to me.
2.) I am VERY serious and commited to the game, I only have 1 previous
character before my current (Work in progress ) INT Nuker. You
could say he was just to test the waters.
3.) My INT Nuker is currently level 10, I have been using a shield/sword
and wearing armor (updating as I level). I have been saving all of my
SP which is around 550sP. I have put all of my Level attributes in INT
as your supposed to.
4.) I know about the 9 level gap between mastery + combat level.
5.) I have been killing stronger monsters as I level, for show I have
killed the following in order Straw monsters -> Small-Eyed Ghosts ->
Large-Eyed Ghosts -> Weasels -> Water Ghosts -> Decayed Toeha
(?) + Stone Ghosts, Bringing me to ...
My questions-
1.) I have 2~3 options from the guides i've seen..
1. Get to level 16 asap and farm sP at the Archer bandits.
( I know how to do this )
2. Starting at level 10, Start putting sP in Mastery for
Fire/Light/Weapon. This is what I would like to do because I am
having a tough time killing monsters such as Stone Ghosts and
Decayed Toeha's
3. Doing both, Starting at level 10 start putting sP into
fire/light/range and getting to level 16 and purely grinding for sP
and not using any.
2.) Weapon mastery alloitment, I have been told that the Spear/Glavie is
best for PvE ( which I will do I will never PvP ) So is putting sP into
any weapon skill NESSICEREY or just a commodaty? Because you
never use Melee after level 30.
~ ~ ~
So ends my questions and time for a conclusion...
Getting to level 16 and sP farming at the bandits sounds nice but it's getting really tough to kill monsters and soley relying on the weapons attack power therefore concluding I should start boosting my skills to help me move along the third option ( referring above ) sounds the best, stopping my Mastery at level 7 and working with that to get my sP.
But in doing so I dont know how much sP I will need to max OR near-max my skills I will need. I'm very aware that leveling itself takes an incredible ammount of time if you're getting levels ( above level 16 and not farming Bandits for sP ) and slowly adding Mastery Points. It may in fact bore me to death, but it is nessicerey to farm at some point.
I would like if possible to max my skills all in one go meaning about 90,000sP (?) and thats an aweful lot of farming, the only other option would be getting mastery to 30, and slowly building on that. Slow and steady sounds great to me, but that means much more farming ahead in territory I do not know. Then again, on my third day of playing the game I am asking too much, but I wish to succeed instead of being a commoner that has no real strengths.
So, if anyone can help me in any way with tips, things that you did to make leveling or farming easier would be greatly appreciated.
Rouderous~

At level 16, your mastery levels will be at 7. So getting the imbues and first weapon skills at level 10 doesn't have any real effect, except that 10 - 16 will give less SP, which doesn't matter because you can SP Farm at 16. How long you want to SP farm is your choice, of course.
The passive skills for Bicheon and Heuksal are important, along with a few of the attack skills. It depends on which weapon you want. You might want to look at the KD Nuker guide, if you haven't already.

If I used some sP on my skills 10+ and maintianed a 9 level gap why would I not get the same ammount as if I didn't use any at all.
As far as the weapon mastery thing goes I really dont want to complicate things such as Having to put sP into Melee and eventually bow attacks, which I only de-level later... although I can see the practicality of it, it also seems very pointless too and can be expencive.
Also, I realized what people ment by having mastery in fire/light/weapon of choice.... because they use them in the end? but I really dont want to because i would rather just use a spear/glavie.

You can still use melee after lvl30, especially with spear.
The ghost spear serie is great to finish mobs first hit by your lightning nuke.
The soul spear serie is useful for pvp.
For bicheon, the kd/stab (hidden blade and killing heaven series) are great for pvp. Chains can be fun to use in pvm - sometimes I used them because that was the best finisher for some mobs in my lvls 3x-4x.
Otherwise you seem well informed about what you're doing, now is the longest part : do it
Good luck.

Thanks for the post Vintar
I will use a spear because I wont PvP ever and i've decided to just tough out putting anything in mastery until level 16 then add some into bow + imbues. Not going to be the best of fun but sP is sP and I have to forget about levels!

My nuker is 24 now, and this is more or less how I did mine.
I'm using sword/shield. At lvl 7 I got the 1st level of lightning imbue, and 1st level of Sword Smashing Series. I kept my mastery at 7 and farmed until level 20, Slowly increasing masteries. I had a lvl16 SoS+1 sword and shield. I now limit my Sword skills Smashing Series and Chain Series to only level 3. I have my Blade Force at 5, and KD+Stab at their limit. I have no trouble killing my level, and a little above. 1 chain takes them out. Throw+Imbue, Lion Shout, Smashing, Chain. Whites are dead, and oranges only need 1 regular attack to finish them. And if they're melee, they usually only get 1 attack in, which can be blocked. Also, with the Sword/Shield, you have 1 more item than Spears that you can upgrade with str/int/etc. and make your character stronger.
I'm going to continue to only level up Blade Force, KD, Stab. I will delevel the Smashing and Chain when I get my nukes. Personally, I prefer Sword/Shield. You have the range attack A LOT sooner than spears, which lets you hit twice before they reach you (with Lion Shout also). Plus you get the blocking chance.
Hopefully I explained this well enough for you. I have no problem leveling up, killing, and have only died from the "???" error crashing me at bad times

I have read in other pure nuker guides and tips from high lvl ppl that, as a nuker, you can best sp farm when you get the nukes as skill. Not with the archers where everyone is leveling. But it's your choice.
If you go full intelligence, get lvl 1 of all the books, exept for the passive, I would max it for the extra hp, you'll need it.
