:? Okay.. I'm gonna make a new character later...

If I pick glavie, pure STR or INT?

If I pick spear, pure STR or INT?

Which's better and more damage respectally?

I think glavie is cool!

DISCUSSION! :D

Why should I be pure str and int? I mean if u are str guy and u will have less mp therefore runnin' out of mp potions fast... How does this work?

Since you complain so much about glavies and spears, what change your mind? xD

"It's SO effin' SLOW!" lol :wink:

Hmm... Recommended Glavie- sure, it's SLOW but it's nice, HUGE attacks. Good attacks if you got good skills.

Stay on STR. I learned my lesson now. :P
Focus STR until lvl 10
then focus INT until lvl 20
then focus STR.

If someone disagrees what I said, this is my first character with a Glavie so don't criticize me xD I'm just trying to help lol

pure str glaive doesn't really need to add int. around 35-37 you will already have 1000+ mp with out +int and or +mp gear.

Without a shield you will need/like/adore the extra hp.

Glavie=> Pure Str

Spear=> Pure Int

Glavie do decent in PVE and pretty good in PVP.

Spear use nukes as there attack. Nukers do more damage then Glavie and level faster. They do very good in PVE and for PVP they suck cause of there low hp.

You don't run out of mp faster then an int character if your a str because the mp used for a skill is the same. Int just have more mp thats all.

pure str glavie ftw!!! im switching to glavie.

WHICH DOES MORE DAMAGE you ask? :?

The pure int spear does more dmg. only because of nukes. :wink:

From my experience I conclude, that PURE STR uses more hp pots, and PURE INT uses more mp pots. this is because the pure str will sit there forever hacking away and take lots of dmg, whilst the nuker will 1 hit the monster, there by wasting lots of their mp bar away.

Also, im a pure str who uses garments for mobs and pvp. so i take a considerable amount more phy dmg than someone in protector or armor. (against mobs anyway.) :P (that, added to the fact that I grind earth ghosts and demon horses at a meager lvl 23....)

Pure int players who wear protectors absolutely pwn. (in pve, and i only say this after witnessing PsYch008 totally demolish monsters of a considerably higher lvl) but its even better if you add some hp to your build, whether that be through the heuksal passive, or through actual stat points, to get a 90% mag balance. considerable dmg amounts are thrown up, whilst still having enough hp to save your skin against someone within your lvl range. (1-2 lvls above or below, though, obviously if below, you will pwn them regardless. :P :twisted: )

this is all a matter of my opinion though. :)

SPEAR=PURE INT and go for the nukes. you know. flame wave arrow, wolfs thunderbolt, ice shot or w/e, and the like.

GLAVIE=PURE STR and wear protectors or garments.

Using either of these weapons with either of these builds is a good plan, because then, unlike myself, you wont be wasting sp lvling a totally unrelated mastery, simply for that awesome heuksal passive. (The hp raise.)

again, this is all based upon my experiences, and my opinions. if you disagree. big whoop. we all have formulated our own ideas about the best ways to play.

P.s. by "using either of these weapons with either of these builds..." I DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT mean use a glavie for your pure int character. Or vice-versa. jeez. :x :P :D

Glavie does more physical damage. Spear does more magical.

Ints use more HP pots, while Strs use more MP.
