Ill start off by introducing my char, pure str bower planned at first to lv 90 with a 90 pach/fire/light 30 ice build.
Then as I was reaching cap 100cap opened, here I decided to hybridize, I was lv 70 and I put all status points into INT till 80, from that point onwards I put all status points into str until lv 90, since then until today all stats go into INT, but 110 cap opened recently so I decicded I'd like to hybridize more and go for a better than 2:1 hybrid.
I'm lv 95 now with 15 lvls of Pure INT and 80 lvls of pure STR.. I have 89% phys balance n can't remmember my mage..
My build is 40ice 72light 95fire/pach, I was planning to be a 5:1 hybrid by lv100, or somewhere near.
I'm a str lover so basically I wana keep my high phys damage aswell as my HP, but I'm also a hybrid.
I've been recently having these following ideas:

1. To go pure int from lv 95-110 (4:1.5 str hybrid) with a 110pach/light 60ice 50fire
I chose this way because I'd be so hybridized that at lv 110 my light buff will give a 19% boost up of mag dmg, which is wonderful..also speed buffs become really high and I'd choose light imbue instead of fire.

2. Pure int from 95-100 and then keeping my 5:1 str hybrid build with 110pach 100fire 80light and 40 ice.
This will give me better mage attacking buff than what I have now and a well balanced build, however I think I'd be missing out on the capped fire buffs/imbue ? I NEED the 40ice for snow !

3. Pure int from 95-100 then pure str to 110 (4.5:1 str hybrid) with 110fire/pach 40ice 70light. This build is so basic and just the thought of making it makes me wanna delete my char.

My question: which of these is more efficient for a hybrid ? I'm guess they're in chronological order
If any of u tried one of these please feel free to share ur experience
If any of u can list pros n cons of each build I'd be grateful and which skills will I be missing on ?

You made the big mistake of going hybrid, you can try to end up with like a 90% phy balance naked if that's still possible but your dmg will suck nevertheless, str chars depends on crits to kill unless you got a sun weapon so why would you take that away for a little bit of more mag dmg?

I don't think I made a big mistake, I created 2 str bowers, the last one was full sun set + sun bow (crit 16) so it was ownage, I killed EVEY single sun owner on my server.. And I wasn't FF except for my pach.
However, a str hybrid archer owned me.. So I created another char which is this.
Going hybrid doesn't mean ruining your character, chinese weapons have phys n mage attacks.. So its not an issue of hybridizing its an issue of how much u hybridize, I wouldn't say str archers are weak but hybrids own them.
I know the drawbacks of hybridizing and I know their weaknesses, I don't depend on my crits, cuz one day I might have the best crit weapon and another I might not, silkroad is a random updating game and nothings certain.

I just don't know which of the 3 ideas to go for..

Try to get a 90% phy naked balance or atleast 85%...You won't always have sun stuff and you do depend on crits, added to that, I haven't seen a strong hybrid str on Xian.

go for number 2, but instead of 100 fire and 40 light make 110 fire and 70 light, u always need your main "imbue mastery" at the highest lvl IMO

I say none of the above. What is it with all these strange builds these days. As someone before me has said keep a 85-90% physical balance. Also whatever happened to 3 masteries? I say go for Pacheon/Fire/Ice or Pacheon/Fire/Lightning.

I have discussed this topic many, many times before so if you need anymore info just search around in mine or XMoshe's posts, he's always contributed a hefty amount to this subject. And I'm sure just like me, XMoshe is tired of writing out the same stuff over and over again.

:)

Please explain how this hybrid bow owned you when you have a full sun set + sun bow crit 16. Was his damage higher than yours? Was it that he used snow shield while you couldn't? What was the imbue he used? what imbue did you use? How many duels did you win and lost against him? What happened exactly?
