Lightning or cold buffs for blader??

i have a lv16 str blader.
i use fire as imbue and i wonder if i should get light or cold buffs??

if u want to PVP go fire. if you want to PVE go ice. lightning buff is kind of stupid IMO. it sacrifices damage compared to fire, yet has no freeze/disrupt status like ice

depends do you want to be an uber-tanker or be awesome 1v1? If you want to go for the awesome tanker, i would do cold. Useful in pve and gives u a ton of extra defence. If you want to be faster for chasing down nukers or something, use lightning. Light gives parry ratio increase and grasswalk so I'd probably go lightning.

I would go lightning for more dmg and speed since blader dmg is already :banghead:

Cold buffs increase phys defence, and since you're a pure str you already have great phys defence. You should get lightning because it decrease parry ratio, and you get the grasswalk series. Besides...... it just won with 12 votes

I agree with Skitsefrenik. At 35 I already use all the buffs that I can, and still it seems like I want more. They are all worth it too, even if you don't really think so.

Id use both if i had the sp for it.
ICE 60
LIGHT 60

Nukes for a blader is pretty pointless so that helps to save on sp.
The only thing you would use in ice tree:
ice buff, ice passive, and maybe a frost or two for stoping people in there tracks.
Light tree:
grasswalk, concentration, maybe magic buff but at the end, and of course the passive.

someone mentioned above that lite buff sux? i really think its the opposite. lite buff is must hve for all builds. the ghost walk/ phamtom walk / pierce force / concentration/ parry passsive. they are all *gd*

and for imbue. Fire imbue has most dmg and burns. Ice has least dmg but freezes. Lite imbue has spread dmg / shocks the player which causes them to loose partty = u do even mor dmg on them.

depends what you want as a blader. do u like combos mor or knock down/stab mor? for a person who does all combos go ice imbue, freeze would annoy most ppl. for ppl who likes to kd and stab go fire imbue for the dmg.[/quote]

Lightning buff is a must have for catching up with people and being able to travel faster. You also get the parry ratio increase and concentration which increases parry ratio, which is good for a blader.
