Level or farm?

I'm looking for some advice.

The question is should I level skills to 56 (which would leave me an 8 level gap once I hit 64 but allow me to get to 64 faster or should I keep farming.

Background:
My nuker is level 56 with skills at 50. I've got a 6 level gap right now and get 442 SPe per yeti, more for a devil yeti. I can 2 nuke them. I use a gold ticket. I could grind on Penons too (white/silver), I 1 hit those.

I have 24,000 skill points right now and need 18,864 to get my skills to 56. I'll need 33K more to get skills to 64.

I'm not a huge fan of farming, but I know what it's going to take to have a GOOD character.

I hate the caves (or I did as an archer with lower skills).

Unless I get lucky with drops (REALLY lucky, as in I find it myself) I won't be able to afford an SOS 64 spear.

I stopped doing quests as I get faster exp and more SP if I grind reds/golds.

In summary the benefits of raising skills are:
Faster leveling to use the 64 weapon & start on 8th deg gear.
book 3 fire nuke (i think it does less damage than book2 level 4 though)
closer to level cap
more fun jobbing
faster killing

the negatives:
farming in the cave
the cave is packed

So what do you all think?

I say farm the rest that you will need. Its best to get it done now and not rush to the caves. I'm pretty sure having all your masteries updated will make training in he caves alot easier when you finally get there.

If the cap raises then you should be able to have fun jobbing since all the higher lvls will be rushing to lvl 80.

EDIT: Assuming with get Takla sometime soon... The lvl 61 snake worm thing has less hp than a yeti but gives more exp. The lvl 63 snake worm has less hp than a devil yeti but gives more exp.
