- I started playing RSO about 2-3 days ago and I'm currently level 14. I've farmed up about 700-900 SP so far which seems to be enough at this level so far. I'm keeping a 5 level gap(at least) between my mastery and my current level.

- I've already raised my sword mastery to level 7 and fire to 9ish and I'm using a spear at the moment since I can hit for about 150 with it and 2-3 shot most of the mobs.

- I'm trying to make a pure INT(or 90%+, not quite sure yet) nuker. I've looked around for a few builds and I'm not sure on which one to follow yet (this is the one I'm currently looking at: Nuker Guide). I like to mostly focus on the (solo)PvP aspect of the game play, but, without making it next to impossible to PvE either.

Now for my concerns:
* Is there a way to remove spent SP points?
* Do I even need the points in swords or should I restart altogether?
* Which are the skills that nukers *MUST* have, since I'm sure that there are a few.
* Is there any dominant builds that pure INT PvP characters use at the moment?
* How does the use of a bow in a pvp situation compare to the use of a spear or sword/shield?
* How much points should I invest in the weapon skills masteries?
* Do I need to max out the previous ranks of the skills in one specific skill line in order to be able to level up the highest rank of the skill? (Yeah hard to understand; I know.)

Thank for the replies,
- Snow

1. yes lvl 20 cursed hearts quest
2. well no if your going spear
3. well there are 3 types of nukes, cold, lightning and fire they're the snow storm series, Thunderbolt force series, and the flame wave series.
4. well bow has the highest crit, glavie hit the hardest and s/s have block and kd& stab and other moves.
5. well you should go with one weapon mastery and invest in the highest you think. since lvl has been raised and have enough sp then you should go atleast 70-80 in weapon mastery.
6. well it depends some skills do require previous ones to be maxed out while other only need book 1, lvl 1 you have to look at your own skill box and read also there is a sp calculator to figure it out here is the link

I hope that helped enjoy!!

Keep in mind that as a pure int character you will often die in 1 vs. 1 situations.

- You can remove spent SP through a level 20 quest, but it costs ingame gold and only gives back 80% SP. There is an item in the item mall that gives back 100% of your SP spent.

- If you like to use the spear, then you don't really need the sword tree, although nukers like to switch to sword/shield and just nuke in PvP. You don't have to start over. You can just do the quests and get back the masteries later since your Bicheon tree isn't that high in level.

- Nukers must have, well, nukes. They are the second last skill in each force tree (excluding the force force tree). They are your bread and butter skills that will deal the greatest damage. The lightning and fire nukes are more powerful than the ice nukes, so people tend to lean towards them more.

- The best PvP oriented int characters will be the sword/shield and spear hybrids.

- Bow is generally bad to use. It lacks defense of a shield, and the power of a spear. You're basically wide open.

- You don't need to put many points in the weapon trees right away, but fully farmed nukers generally max their weapon trees, or close to it, for the most power.

- It depends. Certain skills are different. If you put your mouse over a skill, it will tell you what you need to level that skill up.

Thanks for the replies.

Which armor type should I use? Armor, Garment, Protector and why?
I keep hearing mixed opinions on this subjects.

Thanks
- Snow

It's really all a matter of personal opinion. Armor will give you the best security, as you lack physical defense. I like to grind with garments because of the speed boost and less MP consumption. But I also use protector in areas where physical mobs can lay the hurt on you, like the Black Robbers, for example. It is good in PvP, as well, with the 10% boosts and extra physical defense compared to garments. Again, it is up to personal preference. It can be quite costly, but I recommend have both a garment and protector set. And no problem with the replies. I like to help :)

Im a pure INT S/S nuker and im wearing garments right now because
1. You'll go broke buying all the MP pots you need and garment saves 20%
2. You move 20% faster
3. Since your a nuker, you usually kill the mob before it deals physical damage to you so the extra phys protection isn't that important.
4. You have a shield which makes up for the lost phys defense.

Well I'm just level 16 at the moment using 'armor' armor since I don't really have offensive spells forcing me to melee most of the mobs. I probably have to wait until level 30 before I can start causing some 'real' damage.

Oh, and where can I check the set bonus for the different armor types?

That's a pretty nice site, a lot of useful information but it's still lacking some, hehe.

I decided to go with garment after all, probably the best choice for me. However I'm still unsure about Spear or Sword/Shield. I think I'll opt for the latter instead, extra defense, blocking chance, and faster attack speed are pretty nice to have. But how do the overall Bicheon Skills compare to the Heuksal ones?

Would any of you happen to know a good SP farming spot for level 24 chars? I out leveled the bandits now and I'll probably have enough money to get myself a decent weapon, and a 9 point gap, when I hit level 24.

Thanks,
-Snow

1.yes, smart spendind or recucilition potion. lvl20 quest. repeatable
2. dont understand that...
3. the wave series
4. int/lightning or fire/bladers
5. bow sux in pvp, they rely on phantom walk, and ice imbue.
6. only some. some that is usefull.
7. some only need the first level so u can advance to the next series. such as phantom walk.
