So i just started playing 2 days ago im reall liking the game but im having some problems wrapping my head around the whole Sp farming concept, ive read most of the guides but im still kind of unclear.

I'm making a Pure Str Fire Glavie Build. Ive sorta invested like 6 points into sword mastery and 6 into frost (Is there anyway i can erase those wasted points?).

Im currently Level 16 and i got 'lucky' and got an ID card and a GDF from one of them xmas boxes and sold that crap, i know have about 2 mil. I'm using some +5 double bronze glavie and some mail armor set that's basically crap (No SoS or anything). So what the hell do i do now to sp farm? Im level 16 and my highest mastery is my spear mastery (Level 7) so i got a 9 level gap, i have a few questions/concerns:


Where do i farm the SP?
Do i not invest ANY SP AT ALL untill i get some ridiculous figure? (Like 100k or something)
am i not supposed to level past 16 untill i get my SP?
What weapons/armor do i need?
Do i always have to use potions? (I waste ALOT of money on them)
Can i erase wasted skill points? (I mistakenly put into ice/sword mastery)
How long does this Sp farming process usually take?




I'm a first time player and im just trying to wrap my ahead around this whole concept of leveling in silk online.

well u got some of the sp farming done right...all i know about how to sp farm is this...

1st thats good that ur starting to sp farm at 16, some people start here. 2nd thats good that u have a lvl 9 gap with ur skills n main lvl, should be 9, well most people try to sp farm as much as they can, like for me i like to sp farm alittle bit not much. so u get as many sp as u want dun matter but the more the better for ur skillz.
next is with ur 2 mil try to get a sos wepon, its helps u survive when ur fightin agiants red orbs or orange. u should start wearing garment later on thats help with job n pvp.

this is all i know about that, well dont take all this, b/c this is my opinon so good luck

Farm SP anywhere but best to do it at fast spawn rate areas. For you, it would be at bandit archers in bandit den.



It depends on whether you ever want to farm again, by getting 100k or so, you can zero gap all the way to 70, but if you only want to farm say 30k, then your either going to have to level with a moderate gap, or farm later.



That would be the idea because there is no point in anything higher than a 9 gap and because leveling would bring you less SP gain per kill. But most people like to level to 17 or higher, and then delevel because you do not lose the points you put into STR as you level even after deleveling thus making your char stronger and making you able to farm faster.

Fastest weapon to farm with would be some kind of SOS, SOM, or SOSun bow. Since SOM and SOSun bows go into the tens of millions, I would recommend a SOS though they aren't cheap either. Most are anything from 2(really lucky)-6(pretty desperate)million. Anywhere higher is overpriced unless its +3 or more. I would recommend at least a SOS+3 because as pure STR you won't be able to two hit bandit archers with anything less.



Yes you do, only other way is to sit which wastes time in not getting either SP or gold. Using potions to kill mobs and then collecting drops pays for the potions you use. So its either not use potions and level slower, or use potions and level faster because the gold and drops you pick up more than pay for your pots.



You have 2 options, either
1. Go to the item mall, spend real money, and buy an item which allows you to take back skills and gives you 100% the SP you spent. or
2. Get a quest at level 20, and collect curse hearts, you turn these into potions and use the potions+money to lower skills and mastery levels and gain back 80% of the SP. I wouldn't worry about that now because level 6 skills aren't really worth the time or money, you can always do it later at a higher level, plus level 6 is like 8 SP so if your gonna farm thousands that 16 SP won't really matter.


Depends on your gear, monkey, bow, gold ticket ect. Some people use gold ticket and can get like 3000 SP in an hour (thats a lot) but they usually have gold ticket, monkey and like SOM+7 bow. But if your aiming for 100k or more SP, it would take you monthes.

well sp farming has been a debated issues recently. some people said that u dont need to sp farm at all, just enjoyed the game and level steadily until lvl70, and some said otherwise.i also have your kind of dilemma at first time play, but luckily ive got some friends that actually play the game earlier. from their sincere heart they told me this:

1) Whats the goal of you playing this game?,

a) to have fun in a way that u see and beat all the monster available in the map (just for the fun of seeing it only) and do PVP seldomly? or

b) to have fun, but by beating the hell out of all monster in the map and PVP with a very powerfull blow and kill instantly?

My answer is surely b). They've ask me to sp farm like hell because:

a)sp is needed to max your skill book, if u were lack of sp, ur skill book lvl will be less thus ur damage will also be less. this will make ur killing ability unefficient or just cant kill. at the end, ur gone to mourne on how silly ur char is and how regret ur if u have farm ealier before.

b)eventhough u can farm at higher level, it is suggested (based on a koreon website guide) to farm at level 16 at the den or bandit archer stronghold cuz of the insane spawn rate compared to any other map in the sro world. u don even have to move to attack a target if u have a bow.

c)sp farming at lvl16 is the most efficient way because the SOS bow for that level is still cheap, u can kill in 2 hits the bandits archer with just using imbue or 1 hit if u use antidevil arrow + imbue or ur SOS bow is >+6 or SOM >+5

d)ya nowadays even if u want to become a nuker instead of archer, to sp farm, u have to go bow first and add all the bow skill with a 9 level gap, its really the most efficient and fastest way. after u finish farming, then u reset ur skill point back and invest into wat char u wanted to become.

Maybe ull say that to collect 100k sp above is an insane job to do, but it is possible and sure, it is so boring. my friends that have all deleted their old char and started a new one, in 3 month, they have already collected about 180k sp. how the hell they do that? here's the answer:

1)get enough sleep after u have been doing all ur rutin work before u start sp farming.

2)go sp farm at bandits, just for 3 hours only, but with a GT Card!

- i just cant argue the important of GT card, it is so so useful, its double your exp gaining for 3 hours. for 3 hours a day, believe me, if ur focus on ur play u will get at least 2000k-2500k sp!.

is it worth it?, ya its truely is worth the pain for 3 month because one of my friend that completed sp farming for 3 month ( he just completed it 2 month a ago) now is at lvl 64. he reaches 64 at 2 month playing?? why is that? well cuz he have enough skill and all the skill is at max level when he can get it...so he kill fast like hell. people that dont farm take 2-5 hits to kill a monster, but he use 1-2 hit shots to kill?..so amazing.

and for the non sp farmer char at my home, they are stil stuck at lvl40-lvl50 just because they cant kill fast even after 3 month playing, do u see it?, my fren takes 5 month to play, and at the end reaches lvl64 but people that don farm, will stay at lower level even after 3 month playing (plus 4-6hours a day playing?), and they also never know when will they even reaches 60?.

lastly ive to say if u were still low level, it is strongly advisable to sp farm, if u wanna be a very powerfull char. i myself now have collected 120k sp for 2 month now, and ill be doing it for another month to reach 180k sp, after that, just level up with a 0 gap, and u will get 40k more sp until u reaches lvl 70...total of 220k sp, enough for my nuke char...lol

My goal is not to farm for 3 months because i have a life (lol).

How about just leveling with like an 6 gap untill 30 ? Decent exp/sp.

I do not think iam going to level past like 70 to be honest (if even that).

Should i still get a bow though?

First what level do you think you plan on getting to, because that would depend on how much SP you need which would effect the gap. Also don't get a SOS 16 bow if you decide not to farm and just to go with a gap.

oops, ur wrong there mate...we also have a life..im working persons..thats why i ask u farm 3 hours a day only using GT card...i think other from me and my fren..theyll play until above 4 hours or so..but then if u were playing 2 hours a day..then u might have a point there..

and for the sp farming...i strongly suggest u get a bow...a SOS or normal bow with +5 or higher..

playing with like 5 gap will get u about 200k sp + till u reach lvl70 i guess..i don quite remember. but then..ill choose this way cuz i have already saw how hard it is to level..at least from my experience seeing people at my cyber cafe...maybe they build their char superwrong i guess.

You probably have different definitions of err "having a life". He probably doesn't have time to play 3 hours a day for 3 monthes and also be able to keep up with everything else whereas you do.

oh and how would i go about deleveling?

would i have to literally kill myself like 50-100 times to go down a level? How long would that take O_O? i dont really have any freidns so i dont think i can just go to a high level area and hope to get res'd every sec.

I think that's the only way to delevel. You could go to DW, run to east gate, get killed by earth ghosts, and repeat because the distance is relatively short from respawn to mob. Otherwise ask nicely for someone with res to help you out!

ya, u gonna hard time delevel..it took about 1 hour of deleveling form 100%-0% if u suicide urself at DW, thats what i do now..if u have a friend..ull have less time..around 10 minutes..

well ull definitely have to delevel after u get 2000+ sp..

What i am aiming for is now this: pure str glavie with fire main and support lightning.


At level 16 I use a 7 level gap. At level 18 I use 6 level gap untill level ~30, then untill ~36-37 use 8 level gap since of the exponentional jump of SP needed (I will have around 20k sp by this time)
