Are the skills in this series worth taking? For a STR build, how does the damage of the last book compare with soul spear / ghost spear. Taking also in account the speed factor, are this skills worth investing the skill points? I would like to hear the opinions of high level players who might have used this skillls. Thank you.

if u want to be a str glavie...im sure u would want to add this tree...if ur a blader/bow then dont hve to

soul / ghost spear is a must for glavie build cuz thats like their main move.

soul spear hve properbility of stun opponent(s) makin them immobile for few secs.

ghost spear swings and hits multi mobs and hve properbiity of knockin them bck few steps and cancel their attacks.

Ghost spear overall has higher dmg i believe.

someone would usuallly use soul spear 1st and try to stunn opponent and then use ghost spear becuz ghost spear use time is longer but stronger. so if opponent is stunned u hve time to us ghost and hve time for cooltime

Correct me if im wrong, GS is not stronger than its corresponding SS book counterpart. However, it deals almost immediate dmg to opponent, making it impossible to heal up after receiving dmg frm previous shot. This is why ppl start with SS followed by GS. The delay after a SS is landed and b4 GS is activated is shorter than using GS first followed by SS. Hence higher dmg will b dealt in a shorter period.

Just an add on, due to the long cool down for GS, if u use SS -> GS, u will be able to pull off another SS but GS is still not ready for use (meaning still under cool down), thus ppl will follow up the SS with another skill (be it the preceding SS book / chain spear / the dancing demon spear series / flying dragon series). Therefore, most ppl will link their skill in such a way: SS -> another skill -> GS or SS -> GS -> another skill. Note that at lv 6x where SSS is accessible, players may consider SSS -> SST -> GS

P.S. GSM is the highest hitting skill for pure str glaive in 1 hit. It is possible to crit 7k (with good equipment) with GSM, which i think is enough to take out any nuker with euipment that + str and + hp

str glaive rox!

EDIT: Due to the block advantage that shield users have, it is best that when fighting shield users, str glaviers (or any other build) due the most dmg in least no. of hit possible. Therefore at times, GSM is better than SSS (just imagine 1 hit of SSS is blked, the dmg suk)

The second book of the heuksal spear series has a very good cooldown time. Leveling for the third book is not worth it. I've had the second book (Jade breaking spear = JBS) on my char and it worked well, before and after my chain spear. I did like:SS - GS - JBS - Chain spear - JBS. This was actually very good and it won me many PvP fights.
