Post subject: Fire/Ice Glaive vs Fire/Heal Glaive Posted: Sun Feb 12, 2006 12:46 pm |

I've been playing for a while and im not sure which of the following build should I go for: Fire/ice or fire/heal. So lets hear some opinions!
For fire/ice, i can kill things without swallowing tons of hp pots since i can frostbite or freeze them. With fire/heal, I dont really require hp pots as much as i do now.
So which of the build would you prefer or recommend?

fire/ice looks good
fire's defensive on status magic
ice's defensive on physical atk
ice's imbued
fire's nuke
and both passive to back u up
if u use imbue ice then launch fire nuke by chance u free the mobs and see them burning lol...
this build good for solo...anyway just do some sp farm for start...no harm getting extra sp to spend.

I think I'm acutally going for that build right now.
I'm lvl 14 with now 1100 sp saved up. I might drop the ice but I'm keeping the fire.
Yet I'm not sure if I should go for all out STR or make it a hybrid. And if it is a hybrid, I'm not sure what kind of hybrid. Maybe a 2 INT 1 STR or 2 STR 1 INT. Not sure yet.

Glaive is better off with pure str and fire, just get the +physical attack skill, imbue, and passive +physical attack skill, the status shield isnt that great since it doesnt negate the status effect and you still lose about 1 second's worth of time using a pill to get rid of freeze

Thx for the input. Well, SP isnt an issue as I have like 1.7k sp at my disposal right now (im lvl 15). So I can afford to get 3 masteries. Well, I guess I'm going glaive/fire/ice. If you see me running around, dont ask me for res cuz i dont have it

Yes at lvl 20 you get a unlimited quest that can be repeated 2938409823579847539845798374598734598345 *pant pant* 298374982374987234987239487329847239847987324....etc.
amount of times, just make sure you're RICH and talk to any herbalist in the town you're in.

yes, 3 masteries is just nice
assuming the highest possible cap is 100 each. (max 300) now still set at lvl 60 so not much issues since the 4th book of 1st and 2nd skill is not possible yet.
u can use the skill points allocation tables at my skill tree project post to calculate the estimates SP otherwise u could go on and on lol. t doesnt have all the skills up to date, but im still working on it - (sp farming can be quite addictive once u have +5 weapons and sos to farm with.)

nope, with the right status immunity on accessories, u can be 100% immune with the shield and u won't even need a pill for that effect. (proven in threads, and me and a few guild mates are immune to ice 100%)
