Adapt depending on what mobs you fight. Start off with garm IMO. Stuff doesn't hurt that much in noob levels.

eric, it's a blader's way of getting accross good damage real fast. so its up to u. if u have the sp to fund it, max it. if not, take it slow and get ur combos/knockdown first.

yeah smashing series is pretty oke , the skills them self are fast to use , and have a very good cool down time
a true blader uses alot of skills ,chains dont realy damage much vs players , thay mostly keep up with the auto pot healing and its pretty hard to chain some one to dead if you dont have a som +3 , now if you slip in a few smashing series and some knock down & stabs you can get some high peek damage lowering the enemy's life , than chain him to keep his life low and repeat .

When just fighting monsters chains will do perfectly tho ^^ , but mobs dont realy block or use auto pot & recovery vile's so , yeah Go crosswise smash :D
Just remember you dont have to put all the skills you use in 1 skill tab , you can also press F1 and F2 during the fight to switch to a new skill tab ,that way you dont have to run across the keyboard with your hand , instead you just press F2 and use 1234 again :D
