As AvAlAnChE1 stated, probably the best hunters :) Long range, High-dmg, what more is there to ask. :) Good-gear is highly recommended though!

yes. very fast long ranged killer. maxed out phantom walk and u will be rapin all those thieves. snipe, teleport, snipe, teleport, snipe snipe!!!

my pure int though was a thief but i use the same tactic, got it to levl 3 until i got bored with it at lvl 57. i am now playing pure str glaive, lvl 55 now. i also bored with it. gonna make myself a hybrid.

Doing big trade runs, bring out the AoE nukes and gone are the thieves. I can barely keep up with my nuker guildmates who are 5 or more levels under me...

the life of a blader i suppose

But you need all kinds of builds, especially when doing multi stars

don't think they can handle 5 npc thieves alone at their own lvl.
Like my friend is lvl 38 and i am 37 i get a double spwan and he got killed.
for me (ice/blader/str) i can handle them i think.
plus int nuker can be killed easy by a full str build in pvp.

but less damage on average than an int nuker.

nukers are the best hunters for big trades. the 3rd book of fire can take out 5 npcs at once, and the 2nd book of lightning can take out 3 more. when i hunt for caravans, the other hunters get pissed because i steal all the thieves :)

Against NPC theives, they're awesome. Against PC theives their effectiveness drops as the enemy gets closer.

Lol... im level 38 and i can handle lvl40+ npc thieves. NPC
thieves are weak... my only problem is that my server have
a lot of high level thieves and almost no active high level
hunters... and the high level thieves kill any low level hunter
on sight :banghead: :banghead:

But a str wouldnt help, he would get powned by the high level
thieves too and woulndt kill the npc thieves as fast as me :D

Yeah i can tank higher level thiefs easily, but its when one catches you unaware (camera spanned round the wrong way) and its an Ice blader thief that manages somehow to freeze you at which point another two npc thieves show up and start hacking away at you, thats when your in trouble.
