IMO , str hybrid sucks big time , it will NOT improve your survivability chance nor will it increase your dmg .
int hybrid is much better because you get so much more survivability and in that time that you live longer you can do some good dmg.
As for lightning bow , it sucks. Get lightning for buffs , not for imbue cause the imbue isn't the strongest , also the lightning effect is pretty useless as an archer there is no bonus in gathering much mobs around you.
Fire is the strongest and has best buffs for a pure str , cold is the weakest but it's nice to kill a mob before it reaches you , this luxury however comes with a price : you'll suck in pvp , ice is very low dmg.
How I know this ? djpatje is a str hybrid ice archer , he has a sos + 3 crit 10 bow and he can't get me under 3k hp ( FYI , I have 7.9 ) he is however two levels under me , but I killed him easily when I was 42 and he was 45.
So str hybrid suck , pure str only way to go with bow.
Lightning isn't very effective as archer , also the buffs aren't all that great for a main force
Fire biggest dmg, best buffs , fast kills and pwns IMO
Cold lowest dmg , okayish buffs ( only def. buffs ) kill b4 mob reaches you , terrible pvp.
I hope I have helped you , I am NOT an expert when it comes to bows. These were only my opinions , some may find lightning uber pwnz0rizing I just don't.

For lightining, I suggest full strength. (Unless you intend on using the magic skills) The lightning shock status decreases the enemy's parry stat. That means it's easier to deal maximum damage on them.

One of my guildy's is a pure int lightning/spear/bow lvl 37 now
She is mainly using the arrow combo's 2hit and 3hit, works pretty darn good in pvm.

Think about this a minute. Why are NPC thiefs light/bow? Light buff lowers parry and bow increases attack rating. Combine this with the crit bonus of anti-devil and this could add up to quite good damage. This is also why pure str is probably the way to go. For bow CRIT is your best friend.

Hm, right, and I made myself a STR hybrid(2:1 ratio, lvl 16 now, going full int now) lightning/force bow user.
Right.
I'm f*cked xD
(Don't want to Hijack your thread...)Any suggestions on what I should do now? I think IMO going full int now is ok, since if I go full str, I'll suck(just what I think) and should I start leveling fire then? Comments please

Kinda depends on wat you mean with 2:1 ratio
i made a giude about a hybrid/sword in my guide i advice people to go full str till lvl 11 than go full int , that creates 30 more str than a full int build , altho this lowers magic defence, and magic damage conpaired to a full int , it dus provide extra phy defence and way more life at higher lvl's than a full int
you did 2:1 till 16 right ?
if thats 2 str and 1 int every lvl than your still oke to go full int from now
But .. if you did the 2 times as much str as int thing with the 2:1 ratio** than you might not want to go full int from now on , but rather go full str
**EG 2:1 ratio = 100 str 50 int

Nah, every level, I did 2 str, and 1 int, So I'll guess I'll go sull int now..
But from the replies I read that lightning sucks for bow users, so what should I do then? Keep lightning for the buffs, de-lvl imdue when I reach 20, and get fire?
