I'm a Pure STR/Ice Bow build. How effective would the fire skill of the Fire Protection Series (I think it's called) would be? The skill that gives you the 3% Physical Damage increase.

Also, should I put sp into a black hawk once I reach lvl 32?

No, black hawk is the worst thing ever. If I remember correctly it is the bird that does the damage. The damage is so small it isnt worth it at all. Just get the birds that give you + AR.

Which corresponding to the post above mine, would be the first birdie..hehe.

In my opinion, you can do whatever you want, as long as you have the sp to do it. So if you plan on just messing around, and trying to get as many buffs for looks or whatever as possible, farm that extra sp, not counting what you need. But I'm not saying to do that though, as for some it might be a waste to waste that extra earned sp.

I'll have the SP needed for it as I'm SP farming right now, but is it a skill that will be worth it down the road? Since I'm pure STR, will it make a big difference?

EDIT: I'm not sure how useful the skill is, sorry if I'm not making sense :)

Yes worth it. As a pure str you naturally have a higher physical defense. Get this to use for those magic using mobs like gunpowders and earth maicicans. Also very helpfull in PvP. As a pure str I am assuming that you already have a bunch of points in the fire tree already. Flame body and the buff are musts for pure str.

Well I currently have more points into Ice, (I was only planning on the imbue and the ice nova series)...but now I come to think of it, i should probably get the fire imbue instead of the cold? I def. want the nova series (or w/e) because i think it'll be really useful in the future

Question: So should I delevel my cold imbue once i can and switch over to fire imbue?

well if ur using a glavie, most of the skills, besides the chains are mostly single hits and thus making ice not that effective, but for a blader ice is quite handy because of the quick chains and faster executed moves, you should probably go with fire imbue.

those are pretty effective , if you take both the fire passive and the phy damage increase buff

Flame Body Series:
book 1: 3%
book 2: 5%
book 3: 7%
Flame Devil Force Series (Passive)
lvl 1: 1%
lvl2 : 2%
lvl3 : 3%
lvl4 : 4%
lvl5 : 5%
lvl6 : 6%
altho you realy start to notice its effect at around lvl 42 when you get the lvl 42 weapons

and black hawk sux
