How to continue the best way - or better start a new char?

Hi,

unfortunately i read all that stuff about sp-farming and pure int/str too late, so now my char is at:

lvl 27
str 93
int 82
Ice lvl 25
Bow Mastery lvl 27 [I know its bad for sp-farming:(]
Wearing Garment

I now know all this isnt what you can call efficient but i dont like the idea of just breaking up with that char, so could someone please give me some tips of how to continue the best way?

I thought about reaching 2:1 str:int ratio until about lvl 40 and start sp-farming now...

will I still have fun playing that way, or should i just create a new character? I'd be thankful for explained opinions and tips.

There is a guide on hybrids.. But they say that it really sucks..

yeah i read it....

so, you say: new char, but could you maybe explain? I dont know how it is to be high level and what exactly sucks, cause atm i still enjoy playing with these values....

it all about ballance ,
a hybrid bow has good mag and phy damage from his/her bow
but ballance cuts this down ,
sinds spears , and glaives do better and shield users have block and more defence , you as a hybrid would lose out in damage penetration

a full str bow gets 100% ( or more) phy ballance , and thus maxes out all the phy damage he dus , if he crits this will be dubble
he would lose out on mag damage , but he will make up for it in phy damage

a hybrid bow would just lose damage to ballance , and to enemy defence , he would make up with it in the form of a lil extra mag damage from imbue , but at high lvl this will just bounce off on people's defence
so its not realy a advantage damage wize in pvp , pvm it dunst realy matter much tho

and skill wize , all the bow skills are phy oriantated , and pacheon has some nasty high lvl phy damaging skills , like the exploding arrow series , strong bow and the anti devil bow series , if you cut down on phy damage these would lose mayor effect , and you will not realy gain to much from doing so
you dont have block and the extra defence of a good shield , you dont have the damage of a int spear , so youl lose out at higher lvl's

int bows can be done , but thay are ever so fragil and realy hard to play for some people , making str the favorite , and str bows are not bad at all ,
perfect build for the less experianced bowers , and perfect for the killing pro's , big life , big damage , range , wat more you need ^^

and str bows are the scurge of int players in my opinion
thay have moves that fire faster than nukes , and have the dreaded arrow combo's , combined with a good critt bow and the fact that bows can get more range than nukes thay make exelent int killers

hehehe yeah rant over now ..

jees, i've been playing for a while now, but still i'm getting maybe half of what is posted here ^^

but what i got is that hybrids really seem to suck and i guess im gonna go for a new char.

thx kitary, i think that talk about balance was helpful for me, though i dont get it completely yet.... but i hope time will tell =) whose guide would you recommend? there are quite a lot...

basicaly any full str fire bow guide will do

( just dont do the dual imbue thing for now keep lightning at lvl 12 and get lvl 1 graswalk , you'd know wat to do with lighting better at around lvl 30ish , and you'l need sp .. unless your ganna farm alot )

these are pretty good to start out with

if you follow the advice in those guide's , and just forget about pvp for now , and visit the forum a few times a week to read up on stuff here
( anything game related will do ) than over time you will become more familiar and experianced with the game and its dynamic's

at a certain point you'd have the experiance to finish off your char with out the need of a guide , and becouse you followd a very general guide the basis of your char would be sollid enuf for you to tweek it as you see fit , with out the need to restart a hole char , or invest alot of time and ingame gold to reset skills
