yes. The pure int will hit harder normally, but when a crit comes the dmg is incomparable. The int will go from normal 7k to 9k crit. The glaiver will go from 5k to 18k crit or something funny like that. This is because crit is based on ur str points.

With this in mind, there SHOULD be a perfect balance for every cap between int and str where you will have ideal hp, hit harder than normal, and crit hard enough to kill... course this takes so much experimenting.... kinda pointless unless you know all the algorithms for this game, which is what some ppl are trying to do last i checked.

Int based characters will always do higher overall normal dmg alongside their skills than a Str char could (that's combined WITH imbue).

if the int char imbues yes they will but if the int char doesn't imbue they will hit like 400.

Lol wat. Even my Warrior doesnt do more than double the damage, and it uses phy damage only, unlike a chinese char.

it will hit harder since their imbunes give them a higher edge on damage, when with physical users they can take a lot of hits. STR - Health, INT - Damage that's how i've always seen it :S

Except now with snow shield: STR: tanking INT: damage, and during snow shield tanking too (not as good as STR but VERY good)

Srry  , i looked at it again, was from about 9k-16k crit. Still a much larger increase than any pure int's crit ><.. now if only pure int could crit like that.... heh :P

As for the snow shield. I'm not so sure about a pure int spear, but a pure int s/s, with max snow (i'm only using 40% and it's working well still) and max ironwall (still 2 lvls short of maxing :P) i can run from spawn, cast snow and ironwall, all the way to opponent's side, take the flag, and run back without dying 70% of the time. 90% of the time i can make it to their side and steal the flag. For a 1 vs 1 pvp. My friend's 76 glaiver (i'm only 73) attacks goes from 4k- 1k or so per hit. So yeah... with the buffs, a pure int is pretty much a tank for about 15 secs.... than he has to rely on some skills for the next 1 min 45 secs until snow runs out.... then he has to run like mad :P

yeah, but the cast time can be interrupted. For pure str, the crit comes randomly, and it's pretty much impossible to cancel. For a int, you can tell when they are about to nuke, and if you can kb, or stun, that will usually stop it depending if you manage it in time or not.
