Ok, I'm looking for some advice here. I know there was a big debate but I read through some of the first few pages and couldn't really find a good answer.

I'm mainly Blade/Fire right now but I have 10 levels in Ice (I'm level 21 currently, so it's 15/15/10 blade/fire/ice). I like being a defensive mofo so I thought ice would be fun. I could care less about 1v1 pvp but I'm more focused on can I protect a merchant well enough. I'm also really interested in the speed and dodge bonus from lightning, but I'm afraid to add in a 4th tree.

What is recommended? I don't really want to screw up a character and I'm afraid I already have introducing Ice into it (I'm keeping the imbue low lvl right now as it's only lvl 2 and I kinda regret doing that).

Advice?

Same questions here. Though, I thought about it. I've read cuchulainn's posts so far and well he does make sence about Ice/Cold Bladers. And you all know Ice bladers will own if there is a limited supply of pills your opponent has in PvP. Ice gives defence bonus, higher block ratio and nice status effects to enemies/monsters. Although, Fire Bladers work well also, and the extra burn helps sometimes, but I'm talking about PvP I don't think fire will have a great chance even though it has a higher amount of damage dishing out, it doesn't provide that extra defence boost that allows a 50%+ chance of winning a PvP or PvE. As cuchulainn said. I'm just repeating =P

I am going for Ice Blader, with Fire buffs and passive. So my build will be similar to the one below:
Weapon - Skill: Blade & Shield/Swordsmenship
Main Element(s): Ice.Cold
Buffs & Passives: Blade.Ice.Fire

Though I was thinking of adding Lightning buffs and passives to get speed like Grass-Walk and level that up. I don't want to be running like a fat man on SRO all the time when I get to a advanced level.
Weapon - Skill: Blade & Shield/Swordsmenship
Main Element(s): Ice.Cold
Buffs & Passives: Blade.Ice.Fire.Lightning(Grass-Walk and Buffs)

Will that work? Please input comments and opinions.

Fire imbue has the highest base damage of the imbues even with the burn effect negated by pills.

Cold imbue interrupts the opponent's attacks and slows them, but with the new alchemy, it's a joke to become immune to freezing so this is even less effective now that autopot and easy to get immunity is in play.

Just because you use fire imbue doesn't mean you can't use the cold buffs as well.

Also, I think I've stated many times before that lightning buffs (at the very least grasswalk) are imperative for any good build. You can't kill anything if you can't catch them and you can't stay alive if you can't run away.

Hi..

Im wondering where the last lvls should be used if we're talkin about maxing out ur lvl...

ur lvl:
- Bicheon 55
- Cold 55
- Lightning 55
- Fire 55

220/300
(max lvl 70, right?)

So where should i use the last 80 lvls..?

- I know ur only lvl 64 (based on the pics :P).. but do u have any idea where u want to put the last SP's..?

For a Blader the fun starts when u get your bicheon to lvl68 and get the 3rd book stab ( double stab ) so consider that a priority... and at lvl 60 bicheon you will be able to max out your weapon passive which is also a must since it increases your blocking ratio...

Also try to get your main force as high as you can,

Hope ive been of some help, enjoy making a monster :D

Cuch, im farming at 5X (Well was, im off sro for a while) and was just planning on farming around 5k to raise fire up to date with bicheon (i think fire is currently at 42 with 2nd imbue maxxed).

Now looking back at your updated build and having some more experience in the game than before i think getting the ice buffs is an extremely wise thing to do. Im going to work out the sp required to bring both ice and fire up to date (could be possible 20k-25k) and once im playing again im going to try farm that amount.

As for grasswalk and lightning buffs, im not in any rush (bit of a pun :P ) to raise that right now, maybe when im farming at the cap (assuming i will reach it before it rises, im confident i will).

One last thing, i have 20 Pacheon for the Hawk A.R increase ans passivem should i de-level this to help in favour of the ice or keep both? I will undoubtedly need to de-level pacheon once the cap rises but what do you think for now?

Thanks :)

Sure, as long as I'm credited, it's fine with me.

LordAmps: I didn't really get the pacheon attack rating, but it won't hurt you. I wouldn't raise it anymore though since you'll probably need to delevel it eventually anyway.

So i want to ask you. Would it be better to have basic force cold and fire/lighting self buffs or would it be better to have basic force fire and cold/lighting self buffs.
Because i realy cant decide what force should i have for my basic imbue force. I mean fire is realy realy powerful, but cold owns wih sloving and frozening.

Your choice. Either way you need the fire buffs.

Imbue is a personal preference between fire and cold. I'm not gonna make that decision for you.

I just calculated you need 104,668 SP to achieve cuchulainn's build.
Quote:
I farmed about 5k sp at level 16 before I got bored and closed the gap up a bit. I farmed another 5 or 6k in the 20s. After that I've been going with a gap for awhile. I got to about 13k sp in the 40s and since that I've been going with a 5 level gap. If you want, you can farm a ton in the beginning and go with a 0-2 level gap. You can farm some (still a lot) and go with a 2-3 level gap. Or you can farm a litte or not at all and go with a 5-6 level gap. All up to you. Also, I encourage you to decide for yourself what skills to get. Get the one you like, but I also recommend you try as many skills as possible to see how well they work.

Actually can you explain more details about your way of SP farming. :D
Because i don't feel like farming 100k SP at bandit stronghold :P , took ages to achieve the goal.

Aidan from Nazguls farmed about 175k in one ticket for his new blader since his old one was hacked.

Basically, when i feel my skills are lagging too far behind, I let my gap grow and farm enough sp to max my trees to a certain point.

Atm, I'm just racing to 69 or 70 and then deleveling my mastery to sp farm the remainder of my build, which is about 90k more I think.

This build is not for the faint of heart.

Yeah, give or take. I might change my mind and not max some skills because I might get lazy.

cuchulainn, i hope this might help you and all the people. First if you want to follow cuchulainn's build to lv70, you need at least 220k SP. So what i think is , you should farm at least 100k SP in lv16 ( follow Rampage's SP Farming Guide in mmosite ). After that you can go 0 lv gap untill lv50. Once your mastery hit lv50, you should be lv54 by that time. Then all the way to lv70 with 4 lv gap. 8)
Hope it helps.
