I'm building a "guide" *mainly for myself ;p* about alternative builds, as I hate to be like everybody else. The one that you mentioned is one of my favorites

The idea behind this build (fire+light+cold) is that you drop 30 mastery points from Heuksel (=500hp) and add them in Cold, gaining:
- more phy-defense from Frost Guard Series .. +13atm
- Cold Wave Attack Series .. a fast attack to look if your opponent is already immune to ice
- Frost Wall Series .. a wall that can be used when your opponent has mainly str "Unlike it's Fire counterpart, absorbs Physical damage more efficiently"
- Frost Nova Series .. an attack that can Freeze/frostbite your opponent. Can be a lifesaver sometimes.
- Snow strom-Ice rain .. a nuke that has a large area damage and can hit up to 5 targets ;o!
Ofcourse with 60 cold only you can archieve all these to.. but when you have cold maxed they do much more damage/are way more effective.
I'm still deciding whether I take this build or use Kitary's hybrid sword guide. Sofar I'll just lvl up to 60 with only lightning, and then decide which suites me more
