If an enemy(could be a mob, or even a person in pvp) steps on it, it gives massive damage to the enemy, this could get them killed, or at least hurt a lot :D
The enemies cannot see the trap(unless they have detect) so never know where the trap will be.

Most wizards use it at a gate during jobwars I think

Fire/lava trap + invisible at gate. Always fun to watch people, not knowing what actually happened to them. ^^

Ohyeah, I remeber a pvp vid from a wiz/warlock, and he put a lava trap beneath him, so when the blader come close he would get killed by the lava trap ^^

It is very good skill at pvp and ctf. Cast it put lc and if str char comes use fire blow and he is dead. And it is nice when you cast trap and watch noobs when they die for it.
