Best thing you can do is create the perfect tank. Full STR, 72 or 90 cold, 90 fire\bich and rest to lightning
blader is all about tanking. you CAN do high damage but never as high as the others in your group

I wouldn't recommend doing a balanced stat for a blader since, the more int you add to your stats, the more you take away from your ability to tank (which is the point of a blader). If you do plan to hybrid in order to add more damage I would still recommend putting most of your stats into strength, although I'd say pure str is best for a blader. For armor I'd highly recommend doing Garments since it will balance out the lower amount of magical defense you'll have due to a high str balance as well as the bonuses of consuming 20% less MP (which is great for having a small MP pool) and being able to move 20% faster. Protectors would also be a viable option as well if you feel you need the extra physical defense.

As for stats, personally I've always preferred having Fire and Bicheon being at the mastery cap and putting my priority into getting lightning up over ice since a blader doesn't really need the extra defense that ice offers, although the 1st lvl of snow shield helps in tanking without completely destroying your MP pool. Plus I found the extra mobility of lightning useful since, often times in 1v1 pvp as well as group and job pvp, I spent a good share of time chasing down enemies rather than tanking them.

eh.
I personally have fought a +4/5 set with +5 shield blader with 90 ice 90 fire 90 bich 30 light, and, as me being the cookiecutter build nowadays, they're rediculous to kill.
For mega tank = 90 ice fire bich 30 light
for mega damage = 90 force 90 fire 90 bich 30 ice (or 20 ice 10 light for a little magical attack power increase)

What about 90 bich/ice/force 30 light?

I know it's good for pve, because of ice imbue and force tree. What about pvp? I guess it should do about the same damage as Fire Blader if I used debuffs :/

Pure ints can live w/o light.. str can live without fire, there are some decent hybrid ice/forcers on Zeus, altho im more in favour of going force/light rather then force/ice.

Bladers aren't dmg dealers as much as other builds,
If you want a dmg dealer and semi tank maybe take
a rouge? or hybrid spear..
